Kinda works for ISO-8601 (no dashes)
I wanted this so I could add dates to paper documents in ISO-8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD). ISO-8601 is the ideal format for timestamps because it's unambiguous for international dates, and because lexicographic (A-Z, 0-9) sorting schemes will arrange the dates chronologically. The format specifies dashes between the numbers. Unfortunately, this stamper appears to only offer dashes in the "usual" places (i.e. positions 3 and 6, as in "MM-DD-YYYY"). However, I can get something good enough if I use spaces instead of dashes: YYYY MM DD

Good stamp but remove ink pad after use
Only change I would make is to the self inking pad, must be removed after use or you risk it drying out.

Great hand saver!
This stamp saves my hand from writing so much. At my job, we have to stamp out ID# on EVERYTHING. Of course "the budget" doesn't allow for all of us to have stamps because "expense". It's a lie. These aren't expensive at all and this has saved my hand from a lot of pain. Not sure how long the ink pad will last but it was very easy to insert or remove if you're not going to be using it or need to transport it somewhere. I really love this!

Indelible Ink
I hate writing reviews, but this is an exception. You cannot use this product without getting ink on your fingers. That may not be a problem if you use the same number over and over. But if you want sequential numbers, it means you get ink on your fingers every time you change the number. I tried soap, acetone, Bon Ami, and a brush but nothing worked. I'm stuck with inky fingers and the stamp is in the trash. I didn't send it back as nobody should use this in today's world. It belongs in another era, perhaps in the 1920s.

Nice stamp
Works great for numbering multiple pages of a document. I had hundreds of pages to number with the same number and this came in super handy.

I use it daily....
An annoying task of my job is writing case numbers on EVERY sheet of paper a client gives to me. I was looking for a way to speed up the process especially for large stacks of paper. I had a hard time finding a 10 digit stamp like this. I think this may have been the only brand I could fine. That being said I'm overall fairly happy with this stamp. I did purchase a red ink pad separately as I'm required to use red. I do have a few small complaints however about the stamp. The wheels to change the numbers are difficult to spin. In turning them I always end up with ink all over my hands. The numbers also have to be lined up just perfectly or they don't ink. Therefore I usually do a test stamp on a scratch sheet of paper to make sure it's lined up. The process takes a while and therefore it's only worth using if I have a good number of pages to stamp. Overall it does seem well constructed, easy to stamp and I really like that it's self inking!

Terrible design!
Should have listened to the top negative review! Anyone purchasing this type of stamp probably wants to be able to change the numbers on a regular basis. Well, good luck with that. Not only are the gears small and difficult to turn -- not to mention painful, especially by the 7th or 8th gear -- but you are guaranteed to get black ink on your fingers that does not like to wash off. I gave it two stars instead of one because it *is* well-made, but its terrible design makes it useless.

Works great once you get the hang of how to use it
It takes a minute to figure out how to use but once you do it’s amazing specially if you use repeated numbers at work
