I misplaced my old lid that didn’t for very well. Gave up the search and order this. I am very glad I did. It fits my large Corning Ware dish perfectly

I've owned the square corning ware for several decades. Several sets. I agree with the other reviews, there a perfect find. It fits the 5L and the shorter square casserole. I have only one question. Are they top rack Dishwasher safe or do I need to hand wash? There was no mention of care and maintenance in a description. Thank you!

I am delighted that this plastic cover perfectly fit my old glass Corningware casserole, because it will be lighter and way less clumsey than the clear glass cover that came with the dish. I've been looking for a plastic replacement for years. For casseroles in the frig, the lid will also save me space, as it is sturdy enough that I can store light items (like a bagged sandwich or salad container) on top of it. The dish this fits is the middle size (2 qt. I think) of a set of three square casserole dishes (mine is Peach Floral). Now if I could only find a similar lid for the smallest of the 3, since I already got the lid for the largest one from Amazon as well (lid #A-2-PC).

I love using the plastic lids when storing foods in the refrigerator. These just fit nicer and less likely to break when moving in and out and around in the refrigerator. Plus makes space more efficient. I didn't even know these lids were made in so many sizes!
