I bought this case for a trip to Hawaii, spending time at the pool and beach. At the pool it allowed me to keep my hotel key card and some cash in my board shorts, saving me from worrying about leaving my wallet unattended at my lounge chair. It did not feel big in my pocket, about the size of a normal wallet. Yes, it works great, didn't leak once after spending 6 days in the pool, the water slide, and in salt water too. I can confirm it does float with 3 cards plus a wad of cash. If you open it on the beach make sure to keep sand off the rubber seal, I suspect that sand on the seal could potentially cause it to leak. Great product, perfect for a vacation use. I plan to use it this summer for a 4-day mountaineering trip, my scale shows this only weighs 42 grams (1.5 oz) without the leash and carabiner, perfect to keep a few things dry and protected if if rains. Just FYI, I have the yellow color, which keeps the contents private.

I have now taken this on/to: 12 day cruise, 7 day cruise, Disney World, and Indy 500. I really like it. On the 12 day cruise it was just my husband and I, so I bought this so we can swim in the ocean together with this full of our cash, IDs, and ship cards in my husbands swim trunks. We hooked the metal hook on to my husbands trunks (there was a little loop on his trunks in his pocket) and then because I'm a worrier we also tied the neck strap to his trunk strings. Everything stayed dry! We just took it on a 7 day cruise where I used it as a wallet while on the boat and also off the boat. We didn't end up submerging it this time since we traveled with 14 people and there was always someone hanging out with our stuff at the beach. We also used this at Disney World where we got stuck in two huge downpours and this was in a backpack with our IDs and cash, and once again kept things dry (note: the other contents in the bag were damp, but not wet or soaked). We also took it to Indy 500 since it was supposed to rain (80% chance of thunderstorms all day), but it ended up bring dry until after the race so this was just our wallet that day. Overall, I really like this and might buy another!

So if you’re like me, and you go to the beach, or go fishing. This is a must. Keeps everything secure, and dry. Even if it is dropped in the water. Will not sink. I’ve had this happen to me a few times, I’ve dropped it in the water, and it floats. Since the first one, I now have two. One for both of my sons.

I used this for a fancy truck key which would have been disastrous had it been flooded. Did a test dive to 100 feet with no leaks, so used it roughly 15 more times. The only time there was any water ingress was when I caught the plastic of the baggie I wrapped the key in (just in case) in the jaws of the case. After a 45 minute dive to 110 feet there was maybe 1/4 of a tsp in the case. When I was more careful there was never a problem. No 5th star 'cuz it's a little narrow. When wrapped, it was a tight fit. With no baggie, it fit easily but I liked the failsafe. Full disclosure: I vaselined the o-rings before every dive.

This was exactly what I needed when I went on a cruise by myself to the Bahamas. Couldn’t leave my valuables on the beach with anyone because I was alone. So my cruise card and money and credit card all went into the water with me and I felt very safe. Everything stayed dry and perfect. I love the carabiner clip instead of getting a strap mark with the next strap, I use the carabiner to clip it onto the strap of my bathing suit.

It’s quite small so don’t expect to put a phone in there but it’s perfect for holding cash, credit cards, room key and maybe a single car key while you dive. Not a drop of water entered the compartment at 120’ deep underwater. Latch it safely to your BCD and enjoy the dive.

Its sad that this tiny cheap plastic card/money holder is $11+ tax. It is very small, only holds a few cards and a couple of bills.

I use this while cruising. Holds my room key and a few dollars. I can easily swim with it and nothing happens. I liked the solid color so that others can't see what I have in it.

Perfect for hotel key and pesos for tips. Lanyard and clip very handy!

great to carry card while in the water

The one I got is too small and thin. Can fit only some bills and cards. No way could it be used for an electronic car key, or for a larger modern house key.
