Crayola Chalk 16ct

This is a good chalk set - the colors show up really well and they're nice and chunky for little fingers to hold. I like that they're square, so they don't roll away! But make sure that you're okay with whatever is drawn with the black chalk, cause it's still on our driveway weeks later and through a couple of rainstorms (it's faded, but I can still see what was drawn).

It's Crayola, one of our favorite sidewalk chalks. The go-to for good colors, resistant to breaking and easy to use. Other than pricey professional chalk, this is our preferred chalk. We wish they would offer more specialty colors in their packs like the glitter and vibrant hues. We find the bigger packs more bulked up with too pale colors so we opt for the smaller sizes.

I bought these as a track coach to give to my athletes for marks on their events. It worked great on all the tracks and was super easy. I just put them in a zip sandwich bag so I could give them out. Really vibrant colors overall!

Amazing. Our chalks have been submerged in water for about a week and they haven’t lost their composure. The rain stops and they just dry and don’t crumble. Very cool!

Chalk is probably the easiest thing I can gift a kid that is both fun and within budget. My entire family probably gets every kid chalk for any gift-giving holiday or birthday. These I bought for my cousin for her birthday. She's seven and loves to chalk everywhere. The great thing about chalk is that it encourages them to go outside and get creative. The chalk washes off right after or slowly fades away. We draw everywhere on my mawmaws carport. If you have more than 2 kids, I would suggest getting a bigger box of chalk because they will fight over some colors. Truthfully, I'm always fighting the younger kids for the blue and white chalk, but that's just me. Cons of chalk? IT gets everywhere. Holding chalk for long periods of time, your palms tend to sweat, and the chalk rubs off on your hands. Then you can't touch anything without rubbing some of that chalk juice on other surfaces, including yourself. If you're bad at buying gifts or toys are just too expensive and you're looking for a gift for a child under the age of 10, then yeah chalk is a safe bet.

These colors are beautiful and vibrant on my concrete patio. Only negative I can think of is they break easily and don’t last long. After one artistic sitting of coloring for 30-60 min (adult and child) a few of the colors were down to nubs.

If you want your kids be entertained for few hours in your backyard this is a way to go

Better quality chalk than others- the coloring is super bright and bold which is nice. It rinses off easily too- one night of rain and it was gone the next morning.

The kids played with these so much when they arrived that they had completely worn down by the end of day two! However, I wasn't expecting them to last more than half a day, like the others I've tried, so no complaints here. These chalks are nice and big, very chunky, and didn't break easily. Usually, our chalks snap in half quite quickly, and it's all down hill from there. The colours were lovely, though I'm not sure my neighbours agree with me on that as I got a few narrowed eyes and hmmmm's when they spied our new rainbow wall and path covered in mini masterpieces, but oh well. A little pricey at nearly five pounds, but well worth spending in return for two days worth of contented, quiet children during the holidays. I always keep a spare packet in the cupboard now for when those moments when the housework cannot wait another minute.
