Very versatile and durable alice frame.
This Alice Frame is super versatile - I usually use it to haul my gear for kayak camping trips, but found additional use for it when I was moving house. It allows me, a small 5'5" woman to haul a massive amount of stuff @ one go. I have put up to 80lbs of stuff on it and it held up with no problems. It also comes @ a good price point, and performs as well as a more expensive product. I would recommend investing in extra straps to get maximum use out of this Alice Frame.

Cheap meat hauler if you hunt
I wore this for six days elk hunting. One of the days I carried about 30lb. I think it’s moderately comfortable. I am rating it five stars on performance in regards to price. There’s better backpacks out there. For the price point this is a five star.

okay for the price
i do not trust the 75 lbs rating definitely a weak point on this is the plastic shelf clips. i planned on using this for elk so i had a friend girl sit on the shelf and she had not yet put her full weight on it and the plastic clips snapped.(you can replace them with metal ones) also i reinforced the stitching by sewing in some 50 lbs braided line.PRO'scheapthe padding is actually very good.lightweight and feels sturdy(- the clips and the stitching)CON'sstitching could be betterclips are plasticno straps come with it

Vacuum?
Do I dare admit this? This frame is almost perfect, but I'm not even using it outdoors! It's all about vacuum cleaners! I'm not a fan of uprights, and dragging a canister around keeps tangling up with things. I wanted a backpack vacuum so the unit says with me. What's available are either pricey or suspiciously cheap looking (or both). I actually bought a GV backpack vacuum which is well enough (details elsewhere) but I still had a couple old canister vacs (with MUCH better power heads than the GV) that I just couldn't bring myself to throw out. Rather I've spent months combing Craigslist looking for a decent backpack frame that I could strap those old canister vacs to. No real luck (or those offered locally were way pricey). I stumbled on this frame and the shelf was a perfect solution to my objectives. I can set the canister on the shelf, strap it to the frame, and behold! a cheap and re-purposed backpack vacuum cleaner. My only to-be-resolved issue is the power switch can't be reached while wearing the combo (may put a switch in the power cord, but that's a low priority). So, at least so far, I'm hugely pleased.

Well built
I could not find a retro / 1980s style backpack so I bought this for hauling 2ft lengths of lumber into the woods to build a bog bridge. It’s rated for 75pound loads, but it carried a dozen 100pound loads about a quarter mile at a time. Still looks like new. Has good options for securing loads. Performed perfectly and is ready for the next project.

Affordable, durable , and lightweight
I purchased this to modify for a winged costume build, worked perfectly, holds up extremely well even after modifying it.

Nice frame for the money
I bought this to use as a meat hauler hunting in a remote, very steep, rugged area more than a mile from the nearest road or trail. While I was unsuccessful hunting, I did get to evaluate the pack based on hauling in and out my 15 lbs of water, snacks and gear on the day trips. The frame was very comfortable, minimized sweat on my back, supported the weight on my hips and was easy to balance. I used tape to quiet down the pin connections, and overall was very satisfied, especially for $80.

So Far So Good
I like to pack 80-100 lbs when I walk my dog. Destroyed several nice packs. If I get a year out of this one I'll be happy. So far (2 months) I've been pretty hard on it and it's taking the abuse. The straps are kind of crappy but I'm packing for fitness, not comfort so it's not an issue. In particular, the shoulder straps come loose every few minutes and the chest strap doesn't get tight enough to be useful. I would buy this product again.
