Effective Relief for My Dog’s Skin Issues
I’ve been using the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiparasitic & Antiseborrheic Medicated Shampoo on my golden retriever, who has been struggling with flaky and itchy skin. After just two baths, spaced ten days apart, I’ve noticed significant improvement—his skin is healing, and his fur feels much softer. The shampoo lathers well and rinses out easily. While it is scent-free, there’s a slight medicinal smell, but it’s not overpowering and dissipates quickly. I appreciate that it’s free from parabens, dyes, and soaps, making it gentle on my dog’s sensitive skin. One thing to note is the importance of following the usage instructions. Initially, I bathed my dog every ten days, and as his skin condition improved, I reduced the frequency. Consistency is key to seeing results.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this shampoo. It’s an affordable solution that has brought relief to my dog’s skin issues. I highly recommend it to other pet owners facing similar challenges.

Lifetime customer!
I never write reviews, but this shampoo deserves one. What sets this one apart is how gentle and effective it is. I’ve used it on both my 9-week-old puppy after a dirt-rolling session and my 16-year-old dog who deals with dandruff. Other shampoos dry out their skin, leading to itching and more flakes. Not this one. Their coats come out shiny, the dandruff stays under control, and there's no post-bath itching. They’re clean, comfortable, and happy. I won’t use anything else.

Works! Just do it biweekly!
I have 3 dogs, 2 got a skin/fur infection (we got fleas while I was pregnant, luckily not an infestation but it did wreck havoc on my boys skin). I bathed them once a week (all I had the energy to do) and 1 boy (beagle/basset) has skin/fur back to normal after 10 weeks of weekly baths. Probably would have went away faster if I did at least 2-3 times a week. Long haired dachshund still has issues so we took him to the vet. Why I bought this shampoo: already had anti-fungal which did not help. My boys would get pink boils on their back, long haired had tons. They would get patches of black flaky stuff and what almost looked like ringworm, pink scaly skin (not ringworm though). I believe an infection caused by fleas (unfortunately with the increasing heat we have been getting fleas every year despite once a month skin medicine and daily flea/tick treats). This did help. Glad I saved money on one dog; if my husband shaved down the longhaired and I bathed 3 times a week, I would have been better off. This stuff does stink & dries out fur/skin. Once better, fur does get back to normal! My basset is back to being greasy. I used normal shampoo after I washed this out to make dog smell better & sprayed with aloe to help with dry fur.

Miracle Shampoo - Incredible. Seriously.
I need to start by saying: I was not paid or in any way compensated for this review. In fact, I would probably pay double what they’re asking just to continue using this product forever. My poor dog has the worst skin conditions. His skin issues are especially bad on his tummy and hind legs. He was a rescue and he had some really ugly looking patches when we got him...We struggled with this probably on and off for the past five years; sometimes his skin issues were so bad that his light pinkish skin would turn black and scaly—peeling, scabbing, and sometimes bleeding from dryness and irritation (very gross looking and scary!!). We completely lost all respect for vets. Four (4!!) different vets had multiple different ~possible~ explanations for what was wrong with him - environmental allergies, food allergies, stress, too many baths, too few baths, genetics— you name it, they diagnosed it... super unhelpful. All of their solutions were as expensive as they were unhelpful.AT LAST, a product that seemingly washed away my pup’s skin issues after ONE use. After two uses, the redness is completely gone, the scaly black patches are gone, scabs are all healing. Oh.. and he hardly sheds anymore! This guy was putting out grocery bags full of hair every day. His hair always felt rough, kind of like hay (which I thought was just a breed thing), and now it’s silky soft. The healed skin is aesthetically pleasing because honestly no one likes a dog who looks like they’ve got some sort of flesh eating infection... but what really does it for me is how much my dog seems so happy and at peace 🥺 he’s not obsessively licking and biting his irritated skin anymore, and he is ALWAYS walking around with his tongue out, which he hasn’t done since he was a tiny puppy (I thought he just grew out of that). Google says dogs are very good at hiding their pain and I think my boy has been suffering for years but finally found relief. After the first wash, when he saw me taking the bottle out of the cupboard he literally started jumping around and wagging his tail because he knows it makes him feel good 😭Anyway, buy this product. My dog has been resistant to everything (probably like yours) and if this worked for him, I’m sure it will work for most dogs.It smells kind of like the shampoo they use at most hair salons—not amazing but also not bad, and it goes away after a day or two. He smells and feels clean either way.p.s. I still don’t like vets. You don’t even need a prescription for this and once you know this shampoo exists, there’s no reason it shouldn’t be the FIRST thing you think of when a dog has skin issues.also i feel like i made my dog sound ugly—he’s actually the most handsome boy in the whole world he just had some bad patches and they’re all healed now!
