Fender Pure Vintage 250K, Solid Shaft Potentiometer

I bought these upgraded Squier model and they made a huge difference! The Squire model every time I turned the tone or volume knob they would scratch and cause static brand new from the factory. These are so much better and the tone is more full as well.

This is a SOLID SHAFT! Don't be like me and buy it without researching a little. This will not fit the volume knobs from a split shaft pot, or at least regular fender strat knobs. had to learn the hard way. Also, like another review mentioned, the volume does drop off a lot after 8, so keep it in mind. Other than that, good pot with no issues.

Perfect fit and excellent quality

I was upgrading an old Squier II (made in India) and wanted to change out the dime pots that had corroded. I did need to enlarge the holes in the pickguard a little, but these are really smooth pots. Soldering was easy and the pots read at 238k which is well within range. The included capacitor was a nice touch as well. As other reviews may have mentioned, you will need knobs with a set screw. Top hat knobs will be hard to find with screws, so these would mostly be used on telesnworh barrel knobs.

I had to drill out the control plate of my telecaster in order to fit this. After installation, the volume controls in a drastic way vs the stock 500k pots. I highly recommend checking the radius of the knobs you're using as well. I also had to drill out the knobs in order to fit the shaft properly. other than that, the product works as expected.
