Love this item. This came in a small easy to pack box for travel it is waterproof, with large pieces and easy for little hands to use. It takes me back to my childhood playing checkers on an oversized checkered beach towel.

This is a really nice little cloth play mat, and the pieces are great... what I really wish it had for travel capability and ease of storage is some kind of bag or box that it gets housed in. Otherwise, if you don't put in a ziplock or something, you're going to lose pieces very quickly!

I gave this to my 5 year old granddaughter and she was happy to receive it. Actually was a great game for all ages. The material is thick and sturdy and easily folded up to be taken wherever one may go. A great family game.

Makes for a nice gift

This is a great gift for younger and older kids who like to play old-school games. The size is great and easy to keep together; perfect for the beach! I ONLY wish it had a little travel bag to pack it up in, but a beach bag works just fine for that.
