Range Is Amazing! So Far So Good! Super Sensitive Sensor!
I chose this unit with two transmitters to monitor my road to my house. I set one transmitter about 400 feet away monitoring my driveway and the 2nd unit near my house so I get two different chimes telling me where the vehicle or person is. Unit comes in pieces so be prepared to put it together. You don't need the instructions. It's pretty simple to do. Don't forget to plug in the power supply cable which comes disconnected so the battery won't be completely discharged when you receive it. So plug in the power cable and before putting the cover on select the channel you want the transmitter to use. There is a small selector switch in it for channels 1 through 4. Each channel has it's own sound and has a light on the receiver showing which unit is alarming. Now something very important about the channel selection is this: Channels 1 and 2 will have the transmitter sensor turn red when it senses motion. Channels 3 and 4 keep the transmitter light OFF when it senses motion. So make sure if you don't want someone seeing the unit's red sensor light to select channel 3 or 4. I found that feature one of the best. I selected channels 3 and 4 so no one can see it when it senses motion. There is also a switch to adjust the sensitivity or "range" of the sensor. I left both units at maximum range. Now what I discovered is quite interesting. The unit that is 400 feet away looks across my driveway towards another road that runs parallel with mine. The other road is about 150 feet away and is up a slight hill. When a vehicle passes by on that road the sensor picks up the motion and alerts. I really was a bit shocked about that so next time I charge it I will have to lower the range of that sensor. Oh, and don't forget to charge the battery before you put it all together. There is a micro usb cable and power supply that powers the base receiver that is also used to charge the internal Li-OH battery. Make sure the battery plug inside the unit is plugged into the unit's board before trying to charge the battery. There is a small rubber plug/flap on the bottom of the unit where you plug in the battery charging micro usb cable. When the internal battery is charging the sensor light is blue. When charge is complete the sensor light is off. Once done charging make sure you test the sensor with the base receiver and finally put it all together. There is a very small gasket on the unit so make sure it is in place before you screw down the cover or it will be offset and not seal. Don't over tighten the screws because it will cause that section of the cover to pop up (yes, I did this! Had to use hot glue to ensure it was sealed). Mount it where you want it and that's pretty much it. The base unit is powered by either AA Batteries (4) or the included power supply. You can put batteries in it and plug it in to AC power so if AC power is off you still have the unit functioning. The volume on the base receiver can go quite high so adjust it to your liking. All in all I am very happy with this system. I will update this after the Winter to write how it functioned in the sub zero cold here. Update 11/15/2025: Both sensors and base unit still working properly. I charge the sensor units once a year. Very impressed with this system! Almost 5 years out in the woods now. Sensors hold up well to extreme cold. We get -20F here in the winters and the sensor works perfectly! Highly recommend this system!

Distance
Have been using now for four months. Purchased two transmitter units and one receiver. Screwed one transmitter to the back of a plastic mailbox (did not work in metal mailbox) approximately 1100 ft from the in house receiver and the second transmitter at entrance to driveway at about 1000 ft from receiver. Set receiver for two different channels. The signal has to travel through mostly heavily wooded area and gradually down 100 ft slope to the receiver. We were impressed as to how well these worked. The mailbox transmitter has had No false alarms as to date (black mailbox) and the driveway transmitter has had only about 10 false alarms. The false alarm on the driveway transmitter was due mostly to the late afternoon sun hitting the transmitter. Changed the angle of transmitter a little (away from sun) and this reduced the false driveway alarms. Have Not had to charge the batteries so far after four months of use. There are four sensitivity settings and four different channels (for four transmitters) on the the receiver if needed. The driveway transmitter has only been tested on the heat from vehicles and works well. The mailbox transmitter has been triggered by heat from our rural mail carrier and has worked flawlessly. Have had no problems with system since initial setup. No problem during rain. Set up was easy but had to make minor adjustments the first few days, angle up-down and side to side using the swivel mount. Sensitivity is set on two for both transmitters. Would highly recommend.

works good
receiver to sensor range excellent- unfortunately the sensors range to a object is only 35-40 ft. much less than the previous Guardian system I had for years that easily detected at twice the distance. that was less $. The base unit is well designed and good also but the power cord is too short- another two feet would have been better. customer service was excellent at solving issues.

Great sensors very durable
I have had these sensors for almost 2 months and they are wonderful. I have one at the beginning of my driveway which is on a busy street. I had positioned it down and away so it does not go off with every passing car. It only goes off when someone enters my driveway. It does not go off with excessive wind or rain or by birds above (I use the top cover). These are perfect. I have a home business so with heavy traffic through my driveway the charge on the battery lasted a few days shy of 2 months and that is very good in my opinion. I highly recommend these sensors. Update: After having these for 10 months now, both of the sensors will not work. 1 of them started to get water in it which never happened before. And the other just won't work. I've tried charging them multiple times and nothing. Very disappointed. They didn't even last a year. 2nd update: customer service sent a whole new system and everything works great. I have now had these for 5 years and they are extremely durable. The receiver has been dropped so many times, the antenna has been broken off (kids), the back is being held on by tape. And wait for it...the alarm sensor has even been ran over by a car a few years ago and still works. I was taking it off to recharge it when a basketball came flying by and knocked it into the street and of course a car was coming by at that very moment and ran it over. It barely scratched it, no dents and continues to work. Only now is my receiver acting up which after the abuse it has been through I'm surprised it lasted this long. I will be purchasing another one as they have been great and I depend on them to let me know when my customers arrive. Highly recommend the product and the customer service.

not happy NEW UPDATE
We have been trying to make this work for 9 months. The first problem was a wet snow loaded a few conifer boughs and it blocked the signal. Moved it to a line-of- sight location and it worked somewhat. Somewhat means it picks up every animal that passes by but apparently a toyota corolla is too stealth to detect. Moved it many times, orientated it different ways and heights and no better. It picks up truck deliveries and animals, but cars are hit or miss. Then it stopped detecting altogether. Thought it was batteries but found out it was full of moisture. We dried it out, put fresh batteries in and I sealed it with some liquid seal that was on my bench (see pic). It went back to its normal sporadic operation and then it stopped again about a month later. Even with sealed joints it still filled up with moisture...must've infiltrated around the lens? So I just disassembled it again, dried it out and wrapped it with tape to try again. I don't expect much better. There is a nice groove and spline gasket but it seems like they stretched the spline and it that made the diameter too thin. The older version looks to to have a separate shield over it, but not this one. If that was omitted to cut costs it was a mistake. I was looking forward to adding three more sensors but I won't be doing that considering the problems we have had. I haven't complained to the manufacturer because I'm guessing a replacement would have the same issues...good luck UPDATE: The seller did try to contact us but we missed the email somehow. I responded late and never heard back. After nearly giving up on it I took it apart in frustration once again and the negative lead going to the battery box popped off. It is a very small gauge hair-like conductor. I soldered it back on and suddenly it works about 95% of the time...for awhile now. I'm thinking it was intermittent or maybe not supplying enough juice? I was tempted to increase my rating by a few stars but this should have never happened. If I add another transmitter I will update as needed : )

Saved me thousands $$$
The motion lights don't work on two of the units. They work just no flashing red light to let you know that they are working. I returned the order of three and the seller was very prompt in replacing them but I have the same problem with the replacement order. Two out of the three units don't flash when triggered. Again they work, the receiver picks up the signal and tones sound. I didn't want to return again so I will just live with it. They have a two year warranty so I hope they will honor if something else happens. UPDATE 3/15/23 I use mine indoors only, one in my metal building shop, one in my pantry off my garage, two in my garage to cover all entrances and one in the hallway going to our bedroom. I turn off the receiver during the day so it is not going off all day. Twice my shop was broken into. Once my garage and storage room. The alarms went off, they obviously were targeting the pantry, both times we turned on the outside lights which surround the house and they fled stealing nothing. We get no false alarms because the alarms are inside. This saved me thousands of dollars, I have some very expensive tools that can easily be carried off and the pantry is full of prep items. I do have two that the lights do not work but the alarm does. This has worked to my advantage. Inside my home I do not want someone to know they have triggered a alarm so I have time to prepare. 10/12/23 Unable to contact seller to ask a question about the product. One of the units quit working and I do not know if the newer sensors will work with the old receiver. Unable to email or phone.

Can't find replacement battery for sensor
Good alarm while it worked. Battery in sensor quit taking a charge and can't find a replacement. Had to buy another alarm but it has easily replaced AA batteries.
