Great product!
Awesome product! The ONLY thing I will use when building a motor that has bolts that penetrate the water jacket!

Best thread sealer for automotive application
This is the best thread sealer for automotive application. I was replacing the coolant temperature sensor for the 2004 GMC Envoy 4.2l I6 Atlas engine (one of the smoothest idling GM engines). I ordered the factory part from GM and changed it out. The next day I noticed a coolant leak. The factory part comes with white thread sealer, dry, on the threads all ready for installation. However, the sealer was not working as it should. I removed the part and did a visual inspection. I did not see any issues with the threads. I did chase the threads to make sure there were no burrs. Then, I put this thread sealer on the threads making sure I only covered the same area as the factory thread sealer. You don't want to cover all the threads as you will lose a the electrical ground connection. After installation, watched for leaks every day for a week. Problem solved!

Know where to use this
This product is for water jacketed bolts. It says other applications such as fuel, natural gas and water. Someone else complained it doesn't dry, lol it's not supposed to. It says so on package. I use ARP bolts on my SB Ford so it's a must for warranty. You can use on water pumps also if water jacketed. Use fastener assembly on non water jacket bolts.

Used in my 350sbc. No subsequent leaks so 100% effective. Used in my heads where bolts enter water jackets

Perfect for RV water heater plug & engine block heater install
This tube is my 2nd tube in 10 years; I purchased this tube as my original 10 year old paste was yellow and I am willing to spend money on this product given how well it has worked for me in the past. This product has worked perfect for me for several RV water heater plug (anode) installs & a recent engine block heater install of a brass coolant jacket heater into an aluminum block. The coated RV water heater anode always comes out easy for draining yet does not weep under heat and pressure. I would not be afraid to use this on anything as long as I could get the part to be installed clean and dry before putting this sealer on.

ok, but cant use on NPT threads
Tried using on aluminum NPT threads, and leaked gasoline. Never know whether to use sealant or tape, in this case I used tape, and it sealed.

I used this to seal up SBC head studs. Works good, but you still need to make sure everything is torqued appropriately
