TSI Supercool Vacuum Pump Oil, Synthetic, 32 Oz., Clear (V32)

We make custom soft plastic fishing lures (YATES BAITS) and purchased one of the cheapest vacuum chambers on Amazon because we knew that the pump probably wouldn’t last due to degassing hot plastisol and eventually have to buy several new pumps throughout the lifetime of this business. We bought this oil with the pump merely based on reviews and never used the cheap mineral oil looking stuff that came with the pump. After changing the first break in period to inspect for metal shavings and debris, this pump has been abused for years now (as you can tell from the color from the oil, thats not internal wear but plastisol colorant that has been sucked into the motor and mixed with the oil). No gasket or seal leaks, no damage to the diaphragm.. Nothing. Maybe the tolerances are better now in pumps than what they used to be but I’m still a believer in this oil. Short run cycles throughout the day and it doesn’t get hot or loud, this isn’t a paid testimony.. just wanted to share our experience with this oil and maybe help someone out.

Great oil. Long life in the pump and reduces noise a little bit. Best I’ve used so far.

The vacuum pump oil works as described. It was used for a few vacuum and recharge projects and wirked as intended. Not much of a scent and seemed similar in consistency of more expensive brands.

I have a Robinair 15310 The oil that came with the pump had horrible misting vapor. drained it and flushed the chambers with VM&P Naptha. Hit it with air and filled it with TSI Supercool and no misting vapor even when first starting the vacuum. After I get the vapor mist filter from BVV it will be good to go for in shop use. If you have Misting vapor TSI oil and BVV Vacuum Pump Vapor Mist Filter-Mastercool Pumps will fix it for good. By the way Robinair has M24 fitting for vapor mist filter. Not many new people stabilizing wood know this. Somewhere on the net someone suggested TSI oil and hope this helps others with same issue. Because a shop full of vapor mist is a bad experience. Ask me how I know this

Received product quickly and it works great in vacuum pump

I used this product in a vacuum chamber sealer pump. It woks really well. No offensive odor. It does not seem to mist up in the vacuum. Just what I was hoping for.
