We have an old feral cat who comes into our house and lets us pet him but if we try and pick him up he becomes a Tazmanian devil. Several days ago he started acting like he had a hairball he couldn’t cough out and that turned into constant labored breathing. It was really hard for him to catch his breath and he didn’t sleep or eat for several days because he couldn’t breathe well. It was so stressful because I felt that I couldn’t take him to the vet because a) I’ve never been able to get him in a cat carrier and b) the stress of it might prove lethal considering he couldn’t breathe and we know he is old because he has an old man cat backbone. If this was it for him I didn’t want him to leave this earth stressed.I couldn’t tell what was wrong – heart failure, respiratory infection. Out of desperation and by some grace I found this remedy. I thought even if it was the cat’s time to go at least maybe it would help him relax and breathe better so he wouldn’t be stressed and scared.The two day Amazon shipping was a brutal wait. I even tracked down my mail carrier on the day of the delivery so I could get it as early as possible. Because things were desperate, I mixed 5 drops with a little water and used an eye dropper to put it in his mouth. Then I remembered that I have an aromatherapy steam diffuser that is shaped like a genie bottle and I mixed some of the remedy with water and set the diffuser to alternate on and off throughout the day. I set it right on the floor in front of him. He was up on foot stool and he moved his face right into the mist. I put the Nora Jones Pandora station on for him to help him relax some more.It took about 18 hours altogether to notice true improvement. The first sign was that his breathing was sounding a little less labored. Then after a few hours he fell asleep!! He’d sleep for a bit (which was a miracle in itself) and then wake up struggling to breathe again. Then a few hours later he fell asleep again and his breathing was much quieter. He’d then wake up and start wretching like he had a hairball but this time stuff came up (not a pleasant thought but it seemed like he needed to get the gunk out!). Then he would fall asleep very peaceful and wake up and hock up stuff again. After a night of that the next morning he ate and drank for the first time in days. He purred when I pet him. He still has some congestion but I’m pretty sure he has turned a positive corner. Most importantly, no matter what happens he no longer feels stressed and he is able to sleep and eat and drink. We will keep his mister going until he seems completely out of the woods and then give him a breathing treatment at least once or twice a day after that until we are completely sure he’s good. I will be ordering another bottle of this stuff soon to make sure I am never without it. I don't want to over hype it but it felt miraculous to us.

Our 10 year old barn cat had recently started showing signs of Asthma. I didn't know that is what it was (acting like he needed to hack up a hairball, but never did) So off to the vet we went. Once that was confirmed we decided to not start any of the medicines because his was still mild, and at his age, the pharmeceutical medicines can have negative side effects. Our hay in our barn was dustier this year, and his asthma got more frequent, though not intense episodes. But more than i was comfortable seeing him experience. I read about this product. Ordered it. Started it. On day 3 (day 2 I had already noticed his breathing change) my husband asks me "What has gotten into Reno - he's like a kitten!! Ran down to great me for his morning food, meowing, playing with strings" He had no idea I had started this. I have not seen one episode of asthma in our cat since I began! NOT ONE!! He indeed has much more energy. better appetite. The first 2 weeks I gave it to him most every day. Now I'm down to twice a week. Sometimes just one. He's a real love bug, and doesn't seem to mind the taste. Though he has learned to hold it in his mouth and not swallow. I wondered by he was drooling so hard!! So now I just have to make sure to get it further back in his mouth. But it's mild smelling (can't say personally how it tastes) Anyway my post is to make sure if you question trying it, that is is absolutely worth a try!!

All these great reviews, and I didn't notice a thing. I recently had my carpets and upholstery cleaned, sprayed anti-allergen spray ($30 bottle!), and have seen no changes in the cats' breathing. I am going to try changing cat litter again. I've been using Ultra Precious Cat for a year and was not a fan of clay litter but it has the best reviews for asthmatic cats time and time again. But every time my Siamese gets out of the litter box, she sneezes up a storm. She doesn't have asthma, but Siamese are prone to sinus issues. The asthmatic cat has remained on the same "schedule" she's been on. I am going to continue to try this product after I switch litter this week, but I don't have much faith.

This product works to a certain extent. It won't cure anything, obviously, or make your pet's allergy or asthma go away completely... they will still suffer from the same symptoms. Don't have the expectation that they will be 100% symptom free! My cat's allergy has gotten worst each year and I wanted to try this product. The nice thing about it is that it does alleviate his allergy symptoms. Usually, his left eye gets watery and becomes half-shut when he has allergies. When I put drops of this in his fur, his eye will clear up immediately. Unfortunately, it doesn't get rid of his wheezing completely but when I give him the drops regularly, the wheezing becomes less and less. Some days, it even stops and gives him some relief!I do recommend this product if you just want to help your pets' symptoms clear up a bit. It's equivalent to humans taking a mild anti-allergy supplement.
