Used these to take off dead layers of a planter wart. I was able to clear my warts much faster using these. They are sharp though ans the first youse I went too far down. But best hack for wart removal!

Yep, these work. I first tried a similar-looking item that's 5 dollars cheaper. DO NOT. Those are quite literally not better than a butter knife. Get these, they get the job done.

These curettes work great. I ordered a slightly larger size this time to help debride what was previously a nonhealing wound for 1.5 years. It's now almost healed after stopping clinic visits 6 months ago. ONE side of these curettes is sharp and the other is dull... that's just the way they are made. The dull side allows for a different use that won't cut. The sharp side works great to gently lift the dry tissue that is inhibiting healing.

Being diabetic (yay me) I've got the typical open and never-healing holes on my feet that start out as blisters but end up looking like calderas of volcanoes. I've been to a few podiatrists and by asking tons of questions and paying attention, have mastered the lost art of debridement. A couple of my podiatrists were cool and would give me a handful of the Intergra Miltex RX-only dermal curettes they use, you know, the actual sharp kind. I've gotten compliments from my doctors as well as Drs in the hospital on the quality of my work. When I got down to only having 5 curettes I decided to check Amazon for some. This brand was labeled as an Amazon pick etc so ordered a box. The day they arrived I was looking forward to testing them out, but was QUICKLY disappointed. Not a single one of the 10 was even remotely sharp, it was like scraping a butter knife against the callous, not even able to dig in. Either people have never had a real curette or they just have low expectations I don't know, but these simply do not work. I'm not pissy, I'm saying this as matter-of-factly as possible, those curettes aren't worth getting for free, much less paying real money for them.

Took me a little to figure out that one side is sharp, the other isn't. Once I figured that out they worked great.

These are not sharp enough to trim back skin or cut off calluses , but work well to scrap off dead skin. (works best if you moisten the skin first)

Yes, it is sharp. One side of the loop is not, the other side of the loop is. On the handle is a line pointing towards the sharp side of the loop. It did its job just right.
