I've been using Flexi dog leashes for a long time. My dog lunged at the end of the spool and it locked in the extended position. I was able in the past to take them apart and wind it back but this time I just figured a new leash was what I needed. Anyway I got a JUBUG and it is a little different. If I had only one dog I probably could get used to it but two dogs can be a handful when the react to exciting things around them. The Flexi system that matches my older lease was a must. I saw the same mechanism in a grocery store knock off for half the price. That didn't last two walks. As often you hear it is worth the little bit more for quality.

This is a fabulous item! I am so glad that I purchased the 26' length. We live in a retirement community where we must keep dogs leashed. I can take our 8 month old fox terrier to an adjacent field and she can move more and more freely than on a short leash. I can stand on our dry patio and she can go 26' into the yard. Caution on busy streets where a dog could run out in front of cars. This leash has made my life easier. It does not tangle or get stuck. Very well made!

We bought this leash based off of current internet searches for top quality leashes. We did not know that our favorite leash was a Flexi that we had bought about 4 years ago. Hopefully this one will last as well as the last one we bought. Will update this review after some use and abuse by our 6lb Yorkiepoo.

I have been a life-long owner of these leashes, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They don't break, they're easy to hold, they are perfectly effective. From when I was a kid and my parents bought them, to now, these have been the best leashes I've ever come across. Buy it.

Happy with the purchase, feels solid. One issue is that extension does not have a lock on the other end so had use one from my other retractable leash, but it still can be hooked up directly without extension or extension can be put through which might be how they intended it to be, other than that pretty good product.

This is probably my 5th Flex leash over many years of buying this brand. I am always worried that the quality of product will decrease but that has not been the case. Thanks! It's extra-long is perfect for letting the dog have some room and has withstood many lunges! Most of my dogs have been about 60-70lbs. Great item.

Sometimes the lock feature gets stuck. The lead at times twists and causes the problem. I like it though, the length is great.

Our 19 months old American bully weighs 63 lbs and runs full sprint only to come to a complete stop either at the end of the leash or by pressing the button. This leash is a beast.

A bit pricy, but fully worth it. Sturdy, could easily be used to smack someone over the head if they tried to mug you and your dog wussed out. Great grip, even through 2 layers of gloves/ mittens (required in Canadian winters).

I have had a flexi lead for several years, used for my beagle and then boxer pup and was very happy/satisfied with it. As my boxer is now at the top of that weight limit (26kg) and we were going away I decided to get the one for bigger dogs. Very disappointed as after using for just 1 week it has shredded at the point where I need to hold her on short lead whilst we pass difficult areas. I am now not happy to use it as I am worried it will totally break and my boxer will get injured.

I would love to post a review but despite the fact the item is stated to be a tape lead, a cord lead was sent.Our dog’s previous Flexi lead broke just before Christmas so we were keen to get a replacement asap. Because the wrong item was sent our dog has had to be walked on a short lead, neither of us are amused!

When I opened the box. I expected the lead to be heavier than it was considering it was for 50kg dog. It was light so I didn't think it would last. But it has and still going strong.

I bought this for my Cockapoo puppy. Originally I had used a much sturdier version of Flexi lead,which I had bought some ten years ago for my Golden Retriever. This version is nothing like asstrong, which is a bit disappointing and is why I haven't given it five stars. Hopefully, as my puppyis much smaller than my G.R. it will suffice! I do recommend the Seller as this arrived promptly.
