Worth the cash, easy to install. Helps keep the draft out on your window, one problem I have experienced is don't only last so long. Tape does not hold purchased end of October put up in November here we are first full week Jan and already down and not holding . Gggrrr

I've used this for multiple years to winterize our screened-in porch. It's worked well. Take the time to clean the surfaces first and I don't expect you'll have any problems. We've put it up in fall and takes it down in the spring without problems. If the tape/film is left up too long, the adhesive can be difficult to remove (speaking from experience, 12 months is way too long).

So far it has been working. Will see how it does during the winter

I bought this product for a 6' x 3' single pain window. It was reasonably easy to install; I used the included double sided tape around the entire perimeter of the window. The tape stuck to the painted wood window frame well enough and it seemed to stick to the film well also. I got it pretty taught without many wrinkles with the initial install. There were a few visible streaks where the thickness of the film varied. I expected that and it was OK. You didn't really notice it when you were standing a few feet away.I used a hair drier to shrink the film and it took out the remaining wrinkles and cloudiness. At this point it looked pretty good and the wife approved. This is the point where the review went from a 5 stars to one star. After about an hour, I noticed that a few wrinkles formed where the tape had let go. We watched a movie with the soundtrack accompanied by the creaking and snapping sound of the plastic pulling away from tape. By the end of the movie the film was attached by about 40% of the tape, and it was on the floor by morning.The instructions did not say anything about shrinking the film with a hair dryer. I guess that's because the tape doesn't bond to the film well enough to support the tension. I suppose the it would have worked without stretching it, but you will have wrinkles and some cloudiness. If you can live with this, knock yourself out. If you want something that looks better, spend a bit more for quality. I'm going to buy a different film today & see how it works.

This worked great for about 3 weeks, definitely kept the draft out of the huge window in my bedroom. After about 3 weeks I noticed the one side had come off and the tape was no longer sticking so I had to take it down. I will put it up again, as there is lots of material left

Fairly easy to use. Definitely need two people if windy. Still works even if cooler weather

I buy this exact item every fall to cover our patio doors in our bedroom. We don’t use it outdoors, but indoors instead. Super easy to install as the product is of very good quality. The tape goes on easy and adhering the poly is just as easy. Use a hair blower to make the wrinkles disappear and make taught. Bonus it comes off just as easy in spring. Tape too.

Great product to use outdoors.
