I was looking for a smaller knife that I could carry with me camping and hunting that also had a nice kydex sheath. My regular carry knife was a little too big, so that was why I began looking. After a long search on Amazon, I came across this knife. Reading the reviews, I noticed that there was a regular theme of good quality and durability. So, I went ahead and purchased it. Arrived quickly. I was immediately impressed with its design. Not cheap looking at all! I’d seen some reviewers say that bigger handed people may not have enough room for a full grip…after holding it, hears my take. Yes…the handle could be just a hair longer for bigger handed people. HOWEVER, the work around to that is placing your thumb, and resting it on the back end of the blade. Ergonomically, it feels better anyway, and you have better control with it. So, problem solved there.Next…the blade itself. It arrived already (impressively) sharp. Next, I was impressed by the thickness of the blade. It is very robust for its smaller size and I can tell that this will be perfectly fine for smaller “bush crafting” tasks and similar activities. Just like the video on the webpage, it looks like it will be able to handle strikes ion the backend perfectly fine, by a rock or axe backside while splitting wood, etc. Also, the gang goes all the way through the handle so no worries of it separating from the handle.Lastly, the sheath. Great design! Knife fits snuggly in there whether carrying it vertically or horizontally. Although I just got it, I sure (despite the disclaimer) it’d be fine to carry on your backpack strap upside down for quick cross draw deployment. The clip on blade with adjustable belt width is a nice added plus.In conclusion…5 Stars across the board. I’d put this up against any high dollar knife any day and twice on Sundays! This could’ve easily been a high dollar knife…but they made it affordable and we get the rewards. I would definitely buy this again for a gift for family member or friend. It’s a great EDC knife that I feel confident in saying you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!👍👍👍

The weight and thickness of this knife are superb. The quality of the blade and the kydex sheath goes above and beyond many other brands of knives. This brand is my new favorite. The size is perfect for my small hands, and the g10 grips are comfortable and they warm up to your skin temperature. The looks are so much better than can be seen in the pictures. There's no pocket clip, but it comes with a belt clip adjustable to fit any belt. The holes in the sheath allow you to attach alternate style clips or to strap right onto your gear. The knife comes right out of the box with a light coating of oil and so sharp it can cut through about anything. I liked it so much I bought one for all the men in the family.

This is a great EDC knife not too big not too small and it came super sharp. This is a heavy duty knife that’s moderately thick but not too heavy with a great G10 handle. I added a ulti-clip slim 3.3 on the sheath and now it’s a great concealment combo with or without a belt. This is not a throwing knife and too small to be a bush craft knife but it does make a great defense knife that doesn’t break the bank and in a defensive tactic could be thrown with impressive results due to its weight and strength. If you are taking defensive knife training this is a great starter before you buy a custom $300 and up defensive knife that’s going to get beat up while you are training. I’m so impressed I actually ordered a few more to stash. My training instructor was equally impressed with its quality. So far so good as I progress with training and beat this knife up I will update on it’s condition and performance.

I am a knife guru. Have literally hundreds of them. This sheath needs sent back to the drawing board. The knife itself is a great product. Good entry level steel hardened properly. Super comfy in my medium sized hands. No hot points and razor sharp out of the box. But the sheath is the other 1/2 of the knife. Its just awkward no matter what you do with it. The clip it comes with places the handle in your ribs in a vertical carry. And in scout carry it hangs off your body to catch on anything you are walking by. I added a kydex belt loop of my own and it’s better but still awkward. At least its a kydex sheath that one can easily modify if they have some skill sets.

This knife was amazing for its value, feeling like it was worth way more than it was priced at. It is very comfortable in the hand, and very sharp out of the box. I also really like the way the belt clip on the sheathe works. It's very secure and doesn't wiggle on my belt because it has little adjustable pieces to size it to your belt. It can't really be attached to your pants without a belt with the belt clip that comes with it, but you can buy other styles to suit your needs. It is better for people that don't have big hands, because you wouldn't have a very secure grip with maybe 3 fingers holding on to the knife. Thank you OERLA for making such great knives!

It's what I have been looking for as EDC knife, perfect size, easy to use, sharp right out of the box, priced very well, easy to carry, feel like this one will make me not want to find another one but if I would break it or lose it I'll definitely buy another one these

I love it! I was thinking it was bigger, the handle barely fits my "small" hand but it does and it's definitely a quality knife. I was going for something I could use to skin a deer and also split some kindling with if need be and this turns out better than expected. It's the perfect skinning knife and has enough weight to split kindling. It's not even close to being a bushcraft knife but it is a very solid knife and sure to last. It comes razor sharp too.I can't believe I actually want to Everyday Carry it over my CRKT. If the holster was better I probably would. It has good enough retention (the people saying it's loose just aren't use to Kydex Holsters. The real problem is the locking latch and the clip is almost junk. I just added some tape to the clip to keep it from flipping and secured it to my Chest Rig.
