AVONfmg Glimmer Wash-Off Waterproof Mascara - Black (Lot of 3)

This is the only mascara I will use. Its waterproof but also washes off with soap and water. I dont want to deal with the whole make up remover stuff. I use it daily for many years (at least 10 years). I used to use the brown but that has been discontinued, so now I use the black.This mascara is great if you have watery runny eyes, where non-waterproof will just make a mess. If you go swimming with a lot of water use it may ware off, but if you just get a little bit of water exposure it will stay strong. If you rub your eyes it will ware off, especially if wet.It goes on smooth but does not go on chunky, where I have golden eyelashes, this is better for me. A mascara that goes on thick looks horrid, considered I am soo far skinned and I prefer more of a natural look. This mascara is not to make lashes longer and/or thicker, its best for just giving color and making them look natually beautiful. I personally dont like all the new stuff, I just want simple adding of color that does look like I am ready for the club. You can apply multiple layers and it can look more dramatic, if wanted. I find that when you first open you need to expose a little pumped in air to it, since it comes out really thin. But dont do too much otherwise it will dry out and get clumpy (never pump your mascara).Because it comes off in pieces (and does dissolve) when washing it off with soap it does settle in the drain and can cause clogging if you have alot of hair getting the drain, I have very long hair so we have to clean up the drain regularly.I will continue to use the product as long as it exist and I use mascara.

Great wash off waterproof mascara

I had used this mascara in the past for many years but got away from using it when I no longer had an Avon rep. Recently I had cataract surgery, and once was allowed to begin wearing mascara again, I realized how flaky and difficult to remove the current mascara I used was--so was glad to search and find this mascara on Amazon. It doesn't streak or smear, but removes with amazing ease--and does not flake and irritate my eyes as other waterproof mascaras do. The delivery was prompt and I would recommend this mascara to everyone. Going forward it will be a mainstay in my cosmetic inventory.

Most of the time I wear this it has been fine, but periodically my long lower lashes get "raccoon eyes" so I have to really scrub with something to get it off. The wand is great and applies perfectly, as I mentioned though it does take on extra mascara on my lower lashes that transfers to my skin periodically. I was skeptical that this would come off easily but I use eye make up remover and it needs hardly any swipes at all to get all of it off, I can get away with just a beauty cloth I think to remove it so that's a plus. I give it 4 stars only because of 2 things, you don't get a large amount of the product. Second, as I already mentioned the periodic scrubbing off around my under lashes. It does stay on for the most part on the days without the product smudging under eyes, it works great, I haven't really tried the "crying test" but I do know that when it transfers to another part of your eyes like under mine, then you really have to scrub to get it off. One of the plus and minuses of using waterproof mascara.

At she 74, I've used several other mascaras looking for good lash enhancement and wearability that didn't clump or flake off easily. My eyes are sensitive too. I started using this product about 10 years ago, and though I still sometimes try others, I always come back to this Avon waterproof. I can usually wear this mascara for about 48 hours if I need to, and simply remove it with gentle soap and water. Great price too. If you don't need those extra fiber type lengtheners and thickeners, I highly recommend this for durable, comfortable lash wear.

So glad to find this. No more raccoon eyes. Washes of easily but doesn't smudge.

This is NOT Avon mascara. They need to change the name on the listing. This product is not like the Avon product. It gets thick quickly and is hard to apply without getting it all over your eyes. It is TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

This is the only mascara that I've found that does not give me raccoon eyes by the end of the day. Washed off easily at the end of the day.
