Perfect for the Litter Robot 4
Recently invested in a Litter Robot 4 for my cat. She's a big girl, and the step included on the LR4 didn't seem to allow her enough room to get into the litter box comfortably. I saw someone recommend these steps, and they are perfect! Easy to put together and sturdy. It's almost like they were made for the LR, come up to the perfect height to get into the opening. I also love that the carpeted treads catch a good bit of litter from her going in and out. These were a great buy!

Sturdy and good depth
The first time Peanut didn’t make it onto the bed when he jumped, my heart sank. I knew it was time to start getting some stairs to help him out. We’ve gotten a few different ones this past year or two and this brand is my favorite. Some other brand I got had steps that were so tiny he had to just about tiptoe up them! While he’s having trouble jumping, he is running just fine and he slid a few times trying to run up those steps. They had to go.This model is a bit smaller than the one I already had, which comes right up to the top of couch cushion. He is happy with it for now, but I may need to find the taller one eventually.Sometimes I think about getting two sets of stairs for our bed because when one of the cats lays down on the bed and it’s where the stairs are, Peanut will walk all around on the floor until I realize what’s happening and move the cat. I think one of the cats might be doing it on purpose, haha.I very much recommend these stairs. Maybe two of them.

Good Product for healthy little dogs
I have four little dogs under 10 lbs. I bought this for the old one (pomeranian) that has problems with her hind knees dislocating. Unfortunately, these steps were too high for her to be able to use as she can't lift her hind legs enough to get both up on the step. I'd had really cheap steps that were shorter that she could climb, but I hated them because they were really flimsy, would slide all over the place causing the dog to fall, and they didn't last. These steps were very impressive compared to those cheap as seen on TV ones, but just a bit too high for the old girl. However, I really did like the steps. They were super easy and quick to put together, even with instructions that weren't accurate, and they are SO sturdy! The carpeting stays put and is removable for cleaning. My other little younger dogs are enjoying the steps, so I'm happy with them. Hopefully, it'll keep their legs from getting damaged. Of course, you have to train the dogs to use them if they've never used steps before, but I've had never had any problems in that area.I should also say I paid $25 for these. They were well worth it and I feel I got a great bargain. Price can impact rating, and if I'd paid over $45 I would probably give a lower rating.

Great for our little dogs who are getting older.
The pet stairs were easy to put together. They are basically plastic & have knobs on some pieces that snap into holes in the other pieces. You lay one SIDE on the floor, snap all the pieces into that, and then put the other SIDE on top, line up the knobs to the holes, snap into place and then turn it upside right. Our dogs are getting older. They are 8yrs, 13 yrs, and 16yrs old. The first night the steps were up against the couch the dogs were coaxed up (with small pieces of really good ham, of course). I know it might take a little more time for them to get comfortable coming up on the couch without any encouragement, and going down. But they took to it really quickly. They are older, and these steps make it so much easier for them to get up & down. And we got them for about $27 and they are pretty decent quality for that price. The best thing is the size of the steps...We got the ones for up to 75lbs (I think) 2 steps. Our dogs are all between about 11 lbs and 17lbs. The steps are about 14 inches wide, about each step is about 9 to 10 inches front to back (sorry I don't have something to exactly measure them). but they are good size for the dogs not to feel uncomfortable. The front edge of the 1st step is about 5 1/2inches high from the floor and slants upward, so the back of the 1st step is probably 7 inches... then up another5 1/2 inches to the top step and the back of the 2nd step is about 14 inches off the floor. The seat of our couch is about 17 inches from the floor, so it is so easy for them to climb up!! Thank you Pet Gear for such a reasonable and workable solution for our aging dogs! And the steps are hollow underneath, so they are really light weight! I'm trying to add some pictures so you can see... they are hollow underneath with just one dowel that goes across the bottom for support between the two sides. And the upward slant of each step. Obviously not good for a person to walk up & down! but great for the little fur babies!! please disregard the mess in the background. Sorry.

Could be sturdier
This stair set would be ideal for a smaller dog although it is rated for a larger dog. It works pretty ok but could be wider to increase the stability and a dogs confidence on the stairs. A larger dog needs to come at the stairs directly head-on and when getting off the bed or what ever furniture the dog is on, the dog has to look for the stairs as they are quite narrow. As far as light weight and ease of construction, these stairs are just fine. I was able to assemble them by myself with no confusion or hesitation. A good value for the cost but wish they were a foot wider.

We have 3--both indoor and outdoor
I have a 5 pound dog and an 8 pound dog. This helps both of them be able to access the couch and bed without jumping. We have one outside in a screened porch. It is very sturdy and they seem to feel secure on them.We also have a different brand of cloth pet stairs--they will use them because they have to if they want to access a different spot but they do not like them. It seems that they hesitate and do not feel secure. These are easy to assemble. We got them in brown and like them. The stair treads can be washed if needed. Highly recommend.
