Unless oats specifically say they are gluten free, it is not a 100% guarantee that they are. I had a reaction occasionally when eating oatmeal and was surprised so I did some research. Oats may either be harvested with equipment used on other crops or processed in facilities used for other crops and either allows cross-contamination. The reaction I have had has usually been mild, but be aware that unless product packaging certifies it as gluten-free, there are a lot of ways they can have it despite not being a source in and of themselves.

Sure but it is very sweet, I ended up giving most of mine away for that reason........ If you don’t mined the sugar it would be fine. Hope that was helpful !
