Fantastic product to prevent me destroying the carpet of my rented flat with my office chair whilst working from home during lockdown.It works really well, the spiky bottom keeps the matt exactly in the right position, and the plastic is hard, like a laminated floor, so your office chair rolls smoothly over it.It is quite an expensive product, but it's so worth it!

Chair glides over easily and it’s solid. Arrived loosely rolled up so went down flat straight away.Only had a few days but so far so good.

I went for this larger mat as I have had a smaller one previously and it is sometimes hard to keep the chair on when used with a wide desk. The mat arrives rolled up in a box, with straps to keep it rolled up. It's made of a pretty thick and hard plastic. When you release the straps it unrolls springs out pretty vigorously (which is mentioned in the instructions). Thereafter just put it on the floor and it's flat and ready to use. This seems unlike some reviews (for similar products) which mention the need to soften in a bath of hot water or use weights. The plastic is certainly thick enough that I can't imagine the chair leaving any dents (also mentioned for some other products). I can't speak to longevity though as I have only just put it down, but the plastic is so hard, I could imagine it being brittle and cracking (again this being mentioned in other reviews). Only time will tell on this front, but for now this seems like an excellent product.

I have had three of these mats and the latest one has cracked after being down for three weeks, just like the earlier two. I weigh less than 12 stone and use an expensive Herman Miller chair with carpet castors. What is worse with this latest iteration is that despite having a chair and desk to keep it in place, it slips all over on my carpet. I do not often give one star, but this is probably the least satisfactory product I've bought on Amazon, a true waste of money for an under-engineered product.

In comparison with all other equivalents, this item is top notch. I've been reading reviews on how other products are impossible to unroll, not sturdy enough, smell, etc, this one is outstanding.I got the 120*120 one as my chair is a bit wider and it came rolled (once). The moment you cut the ties it unrolls (quite forcefully I might say but there's a warning in the instructions), and it's 100% flat.It stays in place, chair moves really well on it, and it doesn't ruin the carpet. Overall extremely good product.

I work from home 95% of the time so I bought one of these in 2021, bought another on in 2024. Really happy with the usage and value and works great with thick carpet I have.

I've had this carpet protector for eight months now, and during this time I have been working from home permanently. It's still going strong. I had purchased a different product previously but it cracked after a few months. What I did differently this time is to put a mat over the top of the plastic. I'm using a Herman Miller Aeron chair, the same as the ones that we use at work.

I have an Anda Seat Phantom 3 with "Amazon's Choice" for office chair wheels (from LifeLong store) which are rated a 4.7 star at the time of writing. I weigh about 80kg. I think this is a pretty standard setup & weight to have on the mat, evenly spread across the 5 casters.The mat looked good, durable and sat evenly across my low to medium pile carpet upon opening. The mat functioned well, but then cracked once within the first month of owning it which pictures are attached for. It has now developed 2 other cracks within the following month, one nearby and one on another area of the mat.I do not think this product is good quality considering the multiple failures of the plastic sheet. I've had similar ones when I worked in a company office and never cracked, so it seems either the one I was delivered had some manufacturing failures or is not well specified for the advertised purpose.The return window is only a single month, so I've missed the opportunity to raise this to the seller as a defect. I purchased the largest size for £69.99 and regret this purchase.
