These mats are just the right size for a desk, fairly rigid, allow very good gliding of a roller chair and protect the carpet well, in addition they are not too obtrusive. Very pleased!

After reading how poor and barely fit for purpose a lot of this kind of products are, I chose this one carefully and have been rewarded. On carpet with a very heavy Captains Chair, this stands up to the task.

This protects the carpet perfectly, strong and sturdy and works well on our medium pile carpet with Thick underlay (which makes it a bit spongey)The only issue is the surface is quite smooth and it means my chair slides around a lot! If like me you like to lean back in your chair whist at your desk you will find the chair slip back at the same time. I resolved this by buying some cheap short pile carpet tiles (like you get in an office) and then cut and glued them to the top of this carpet protector. Perfect.To be honest I think they are all the same, I couldn’t find one that didn’t look slippery.

It is sturdy. Easy to lay on carpet, and doesn't curl up. Does what it is supposed to do which is great. It should be at least $10 cheaper though.

Bought this mat as I realized that my swivel chair at home was slowly cutting through the carpet. I like this mat as it makes it much easier to move the chair around. As the mat is fairly thin and the weight of the chair pushes it down, there is very little edge to the mat; this means that if you move the chair too much you don't 'fall off' the surface. As it is translucent it is not too obvious in the room. Well worth the money.

The carpet is new, and the pile isn't deep. It is 80% wool, no loops. The "spikes" don't sink low enough so the protector has to constantly be re-positioned. Does the job when its in the right place.

I purchased this mat as an internal doormat, to protect my carpet next to the front door and I needed a thin mat so that the door would open over the mat.It looks smart, it does not move over the carpet, it can be wiped clean and I have had this item for around 4 months now and so far it still in perfect condition even though it has been walked over every day. Very pleased indeed.

So far so good.No marks on carpet, chair glides very nicely, much thicker/rigid than I was expecting.
