Martha makes good stuff!

I love the product itself. I've been using it for years. However, it is difficult to find in stores. I normally buy it from Walmart but I think they were out of stock so that is why I took to Amazon. The price was a little steep but can you put a price on your happiness? The picture is decieving and I did not look at the actual specks. THIS IS A SMALL 2 POUND BAG!

Look for this for Thanksgiving stuffing and my local store sold out - expensive but I had no choice

I have used this product for year and was very disappointed when I never to an area where it is not sold in stores ….. so happy to have found this on Amazon and will purchase for as long as it’s available. Makes the perfect pan of southern cornbread.

Tiny bag and not worth the price. It’s my favorite cornmeal but it would be cheaper and the regular size if someone mailed it to from back home. This bag only made two pans of cornbread.

My grandmother down south taught me to only make cornbread with Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Mix. Now that I live in the PNW, I cannot find that anywhere and no reasonable shipping options. Tried this Martha White because it was the most reasonable price I could find to be shipped in a small quantity. It’s a good substitute. It’s overpriced but worth the cost if you live in a place with no other options for southern cornbread mix.

I do all the cooking in my house. You can't have a big pot of homemade southern style vegetable soup, without cornbread baked in a cast iron skillet. I have two favorite mixes. Martha White and Shawnee's Best. Martha White Self-Rising Buttermilk White Corn Meal Mix makes perfect cornbread. I use real buttermilk with the mix for a doubly buttermilk flavor. Delicious!

I use this self rising white cornmeal all the time and my cornbread always comes out really good it rises nice and browns beautifully everytime and tastes great I use it for cornbread, cornbread stuffing and I also fry fish with fish it , great quality product I'm never disappointed.

Bag was small for price
