My family and I enjoy drinking iced coffee and iced teas, so we go through a lot of ice. To make things fun, I like using different shaped ice cubes - everything from tiny spheres to large spheres, tiny squares to large squares, and miscellaneous shapes (such as LEGO minifigures, diamonds, flowers - to name a few).We needed ice cubes that were smaller than a typical ice cube, but larger than the tiny squares we have. These ice cube trays make a nice square cube that is the perfect size - about 3/4 inch square.The ice cube trays are very easy to use, and really do make perfect cubes. Just fill the trays with water, pour off any excess water, then pop on the lid.The ice cube trays stack very nicely in our freezer, so they don't take up too much space.The ice cubes are very easy to remove - just remove the lid, push up on the bottom silicone portion of the tray, and the cubes pop right out. NOTE: You COULD gently twist the tray to make the ice cubes pop out, but we find it easier (and safer for the tray) to just push the bottoms.Having lids on the ice cube trays we use is very important to us - the lids really help keep the ice from frosting up, and keeps the ice more pure. NOTE: The lids don't have an air-tight seal, but they work well enough to keep the ice cubes from frosting up in the freezer, and work well enough to get the ice cube trays to the freezer without spilling. Just be sure to place the filled ice cube trays flat in the freezer to avoid any spilling that might happen.We rinse the trays out between uses, but they can also be washed in the dishwasher, so cleaning them is very easy.I ordered the 3-pack of trays. You can make 36 cubes at a time in each tray. We hot brew our tea, then flash chill it in a glass with ice cubes. One tray of ice cubes is typically needed for one glass of tea using this flash chill method. NOTE: Because the ice cubes are smaller than a typical ice cube, just know that they will melt faster - that's just the way it works. ;-)Because this 3-pack comes in three different colors, I use the purple tray to freeze small fruit in the ice, the pink tray to freeze flower petals or tea leaves (we really like freezing Butterfly Pea Tea leaves in ice - they turn the ice tea blue!), and the teal tray for just plain ice.We've been using these trays so much since I purchased them, that I now need to order another set so we can have more trays with just plain ice - since we use more ice cubes of plain ice per glass of tea than the fruit or flower ice cubes.I DO wish these trays were available to order individual colors. If that were the case, I'd order a 3-pack of just teal trays so we could keep our color-coded trays straight (see my note above). That is the only downside of these trays, and it's pretty minor.While this brand of ice cube trays are available in three different sizes (click the link beneath the product title (Visit the ZDZDZStore) to see all sizes available), I also wish this supplier made ice cube trays in different shaped cubes - I'd buy them all!Don't hesitate to buy these ice cube trays - they really are a nice quality (better than other brands we've had) and are easy to use.

These trays work great for creating small ice cubes for my blended shakes.They are actually small enough that you can -almost- squeeze them through the neck of a bottle if you want to reuse the water bottle.When I need to dash I just dumped a bunch in a bowl with some water and it melts off just enough of them that I can pretty much push them through the neck of a small water bottle individually

These ice trays are really great. The smaller cube is nice, and being able to pop them out from the bottom, if needed, is fantastic. But, be really careful that you don't twist the tray too hard trying to releasethe cubes, or the tray will snap in half. And, if you are unlucky like me, you will end up with a couple of stitches. And down 1 tray.

These trays are excellent! The cubes are the perfect size in my opinion. Not so small as to melt too fast and large enough to keep the drink cold for a perfect amount of time. I like that they are also bite size so easy to crunch into crushed ice once in the mouth. One tray fills two drinks plenty full, Would actually do well for three drinks. I like a lot of ice and sometimes use a whole tray for one drink that I refill at least twice. I found it very easy to pop them out of the tray. A slight twist of the trays pops most out and the rest come out with a slight touch on the bottom of each cube. I also found the trays easy to fill, pop the lid on and slide them in the freezer. Really not sure how anyone could find these difficult to use.

The cubes are small but not too small. The lids are nice for stacking on top of each other. Great ice!

I bought this to use it as preserving garlic and ginger grinded, is good but after 2 years one broke

As I'm getting closer to my due date, I'm preparing several things to be frozen so my husband does not struggle with simple stuff like adding garlic to some food. We purchased a massive bag of garlic from sams club and I've been blending it and freezing it. This tray makes this process super easier. I would purchase another 2 honestly but I'm still not sure if it will work as I expect, however, it does the job just like expected, so 5 stars to it. The lid does not seal, so if you use this with oil or anything else, you will need a flat surface to place it, and it does not really fit a lot, but hey, it is small enough for seasoning, so it is great for me.

We use these to freeze pumpkin for our German shepherd and these work so well! We give her two per meal and this is so easy to fill and take out!
