Q: What is the difference between the orginal scratch lounger and the scratch lounger ii?

The scratch lounge 2 does not have a replaceable "floor" and is an all in one piece. The other lounge has a floor you can buy separately for around $12-13 on amazon when your cat rips it all up after a long while.

Q: Does this floor divide/detach in two such that my cat can accidentally pull up half the floor? Or is the floor one solid glued-down piece?

Two separate pieces your cat can pull up. Mine LOVES this and pulled it out once or twice. You can glue it down, but it will wear out from scratching and you may want to replace pieces in time. Also makes it nice to take pieces out and clean now and then.
