Not that light, but great for training out of the cleats
These flat pedals are great! But they do add weight to your carbon bike. I bought these because I haven't riden in a while and I need to get use to riding my carbon bike again. I figure I would try these pedals to help with my training on this bike. Great value.

Looks and feels great
Very satisfied with the way these look on my bike and after riding with them, I’m even more pleased. The studs really keeps my size 11 feet firmly in place while riding. I can really feel the difference when riding.

Description not entirely accurate
The pedals look good. My only complaint is that the Amazon description stated these were in-mold sealed bearings (which is why I got them), but the paper in the pedal box stated these were loose ball bearings. I wouldn't have purchased them if I had known they weren't true sealed bearings.

No need to spend more.
Great looking pedals. Shin friendly as the gripping nodules are rounded off and not sharp like a lot of pedals. Easy to install with a crescent wrench. Perfect size too. Not too thick and no reflectors which usually just fall off anyways.

Ok for light-duty applications.
I bought these for a BMX bike I rebuilt for my 7 year-old but I forgot that I needed 1/2" shafts instead of 9/16". I put them on my 26" dirt jumping bike and they were holding up fine to light use BUT the first time I did a 180 on them they both bent badly. They grip very nicely, and they'd probably be fine for a cruiser or any bike that won't get any abuse, but they are decidedly light-duty.
