Coleman Sidewall Accessory for 10x10ft

I bought this from Amazon Warehouse Deals with "cosmetic damage" I was warned about -- but I could never find any damage. My canopy came with one wall but one wasn't enough. The only difference between the original and this addition is the color of the 'lamp' logo. With a few small elastic cords I was even able to fit it to another brand of canopy once. I had two walls, but we needed one each. Be warned that using any walls makes the canopy much more sensitive to wind. I've had mine flipped completely over because I didn't stake it down. The wall even has a loop in the bottom center for its own stake. Properly tied down, this wall adds very good sun and wind resistance. It would probably even shed rain pretty well. Splashed with water soakers, it didn't even stay wet for long.

This is the second one I have purchased! I love these walls for my easy up! Strong Easy to connect and even in the wind with your easy up well grounded they do a really good job! The wind was not that bad but does help campfire wind flow so the smoke goes one way. give a better sense of privacy in close camp quarters so everyone can't see your business. Good Grief people are nosy these days.. anyway LOVE my Walls!

As anyone who has ever used a shade tent will know, they only provide shade from the hours of 1130 to 1230 when the sun is directly overhead. Other than that, a shade tent is fairly worthless, with the exception of saving your spot in the sea of tourist. However, a well placed sun wall will keep you a few degrees cooler all day long. I bought the Amazon basics shade tent, and this sun wall paired well with the tent. Pros: Works with most straight leg shad tents Uses elastic bands, d shackles, and metal hooks to connect around the tents legs and cross supports. Provides shade all day long Con: Eleastic bands and clips are cheaply made and won't last long Doesn't hold up well in the wind (on the Amazon tent) The corner clips are not universal Summary : The pros outweigh the cons in my option, and I am happy with my purchase.

Ordered a pair of these after I found a review that they will fit the 13 foot eaved, straight leg Coleman canopies but had to return them as they were not big enough (by about 3 inches). Disappointing because Coleman has been sold out of the compatible ones for over a year. 5 stars for the quality and recommend if you have a compatible canopy! No rating for use.

This sidewall uses elastic stitched into the seams with metal clasps. I use it with a cheaper ozark trail 10x10 and it works perfectly. Can cut down the breeze or add some privacy to your camp. Does a good job in a light rain. I haven't had it out in a storm yet.

WOW well the first two camping trips i used them these saved our lives!!! First one was really cold 35-40 at night, so I put up 3 walls (each 1 sold separately) put my Buddy portable heater pointed in and it created a great place to hang out even in the cold. Next camping trip we got a freak storm w/ wind and again these saved us, if I had not had them we would have all been hiding in our tents the whole first night. Update2.5 years later still use these all the time. In AZ the summer sun is bad so these help with sun really good also. Just camped in sub freezing (have camper now) put up 2 canopy’s, my buddy had 3of these too we created a 20x10 room that we could keep at 70 degrees with a small portable camp fire pit and 2 heater buddy’s. Played games all night in there in there. Still a must buy and mine are still in great shape!

It did it's job, however the straps and clips are too easily damaged and it could use slits or something along those lines to help it deal better with beach breezes. If wind isn't an issue, though, it's a nice accessory. I suppose for the price point the materials used are to be expected.
