Doesn’t fit P50 properly
This item not suited 100% as mentioned in the description. It has absolutely opposite side glued cable for P50 connector . I am dissatisfied by this fact and it makes me to unglue the cable and lead to have a risk of damaging the connection .

Works well...need to perform surgery, though...
Sooooo, I recently purchased a Lenovo P50 & needed to add more sata ssd storage to this wonderful machine. The plastic that the cable is glued to inhibits the cable from making a straight connection - AS IS. So, like someone else suggested: the cable has got to be ran over the top of the drive. How I achieved this was I used a utility knife & trimmed the plastic to be more mobile. I didn't trust myself to heat up the glue to "peel back the cable". Win 10 sees the drive in disc management, format - BINGO!!! Rock & roll!!! Hope this helps. Good luck!!!

Worked, but had to modify to fit P51
Had to remove the cable from the plastic backing (hair dryer and carefully peel away). I had to rout the cable over the top of the drive for it to reach the connector.

Tried to connect my ssd on my lenovo p50, when connected displayed a HDD error. after further inspection i noticed that the small connector was damaged , the wire was lose. So much for that, waste of money.
