The Illest Na Na (Episode 1)

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the character development in this story. The friends actually had real lives aside from the continuous chaotic drama that usirps their relationships. It was quite interesting to see how decisive they could be in their professional lives and so indecisive int heir personal situations All in all, this was a very well written short story that held my attention and at it's ending, I was wanting to know more about the characters and what their fates will be. More than anything, when the ish hits the fan, I want to know if the brothers and Natalie and Bre will be able to salvage their conscience as well as their friendships. What a good 'Hot Mess' these 2 authors have created. Very few typos and very well edited. I enjoyed this one!!

To read anything by two of my most favorite authors is a pleasure! All these friends and lovers and lies had me turning the pages wanting more and more. Tamar is so wrong for sleeping with her besties man plus having a baby by him too...smh...trifling! Bri needs to make up her mind about who she wants to be with Vic or vince and move on with her life. Either choice she'll lack with something. Nat, Nate & Gary.. Well nate is already skating in thin ice with Nat so when she finds out him and Claire she won't feel so bad about sleeping with Gary. On to part 2! :)

I started off a little confused only because there were different characters to get to know and the names got confusing but once i wrapped all the characters in my mind i was sucked in. i read this book non stop until i was done and was so upset when my kindle alerted me i was at the last page. This author takes you on a wild ride of drama, chaos, deceit, backstabbing and so much more. I could not believe the twists and turns and the grimyness of the affairs that went on. i was shocked like hell when i read Tamar was sleeping and pregnant by Bre's husband but it didn't help that Bre trifling ass was having an affair with his brother. I can not wait to read the next part of this and find out what happens when all these secrets come out in the open. oh i know it is going to get real chaotic and i look forward to it. thank you for a great read and i can't wait for more!! --Sumaiyah Saadiah

The synopsis for this book states “The first ever drama series on eBooks is filled with sex, drama, scandals, and shocking twists that will have you on the edge of your seat.” I didn’t any anything but sex in this book. All the characters, Brianna, Vic, Vince, Natalie, Tamar, Gary, Claire, etc. are friends and all screwing each other. This was so predictable, after the third chapter. Nothing dramatic about it, but the characters are scandalous and shameful. Thankfully it was free.

The Illest Na Na is the best read out currently. I love all the twist and turns, betrayal, deceit and sex these friends indulged in. They were the best of friends to each others face, but don't turn your back for a second. The knitting together of each couple and their friends was breath taking and so was all the back handed drama. I can't believe how so many of these friends, were not really friends at all. Backstabbing was the name of the game. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE WHO LOVES A GREAT DRAMA. BUT LIKE ME YOU ARE GONNA BE JUMPING OFF YOUR SEAT WHILE READING THIS. I CAN'T HARDLY WAIT TO SEE WHAT DRAMA UNFOLDS IN PART 2.

This book was decent. I was a little confused in the beginning. So many people to keep up with amd everyone sleeping with each other! But, towards the end, I started to really get into the book. I even ordered the next episode because I have to see how all this craziness will play out, especially with Tamar being pregnant!

I enjoyed this book but it ended to abruptly for me! Ugh!!! I need to know what's the outcome gonna be for everyone. So off I go to get the part 2. No spoilers here but The only thing I do know is with friends like these who needs enemies.

With the market flooded with urban titles these days, The Illest Na Na exceeded my expectations. It was a bit hard to follow the characters in the beginning but once I got their stories in order and connected, I strapped in for an enjoyable ride. Superior writing, imagery and dialogue. An exciting story. I'm glad I stumbled across these authors.
