As a self-professed hopeless romantic, I found myself struggling with the text from the start. After a little encouragement, I was able to plug into the storyline and grow with the character. Omega Kayne was able to capture and hold my attention with the way he was able to pen his words across several genres. I found myself laughing at the character's confidence and self-described human anatomy, curious and longing for his erotic exploits, on Fantasy Island watching Kayne walking towards me and touched by the reveal of his humanness and his ability to be romantic. The analogies he used in the text helps the reader to connect with the character and gives the book a light hearted approach to a steamy erotic novel. Lastly, I can really appreciate the depth of the character, truly not a one-dimensional type of guy. I was more than pleased with the read and also happy that I stayed the course. He Definitely leaves you wanting more of the Cocksman!!! C.O.T.C has me sitting, waiting patiently to dive into those pages of The Love Story to see what more Kayne reveals.

Whew!! Knocked this one out in a couple of days, and I'm STILL trying to catch my breath. I did not read 50 Shades, so I really cannot compare the two. What I CAN say is that the book is true erotica, straight literary porn....and yes, I'll give it erotimance (in my KAYNE voice)!!!! Although our protagonist has no problem yanking those pants off at any given moment, I did appreciate the safe sex references/acknowledgements. It was a relief to discover that Kane DID have a heart above the waistline, that he DID find his Achilles heel in a skirt...I also loved the analogies throughout. I found a couple of editing errors---just a couple---and this could possibly be attributed to the ebook format (sometimes the digital editions have some issues). Quite a cliffhanger at the end that took me by surprise....can't wait for the next book. 5 stars for that one, I'm certain......!!!DYB

I truly enjoyed this book. The journey that Kayne takes you on makes you see the world through his eyes. I couldn't put it down. Very well written. Can't wait to read The Love Store and Kayne's Revenge.
