If Your Looking For A Large Quality Waist Pack, Leather Construction, Quality Strap, This Is It!
I've gone through several waist packs in my life, none of them lasted very long. Either the threads would de-stitch from the material, a hole would form, the zipper would fail, or the buckle would detach. Part of it is my budget, I simply won't dump 70 bucks into a high end waist pack, even if I do want that all metal zipper lol. This review is written after 1-week of ownership and use, so if this pack ever fails, I will be sure to do an update to the review. As mentioned above, this is a leather waist pack, which has 5-pockets, metal zipper pull, but zipper teeth are plastic. It uses a durable adjustable strap, with a pretty good buckle. I've never had a strap like this one before, its so smooth and soft to the touch, it feels high end! It was easy to adjust the strap to my waist size, which is above industry standard. As indicated above, this is a large waist pack, designed more for then just mail delivery use.It has the room for my key's, wallet, cell phone, 2-pocket knifes, a mini can of pepper spray, and still has room for carrying more, such as if you need to bring a ziplock bag with some change with you or something else. Because I do extraneous outdoor work, which requires a lot of body movement, it can cause the zippers to zip open a bit, that seems to be common with many waist packs. But I am always careful when zipping them closed, trying to prevent damage to them from not bending the teeth.I think I finally got a nice waist pack for the price. Hope it will last, 5 out of 5 stars!

The best MAN fanny!
Folks, this here is a great fanny made of what looks, feels and smells of real quality leather. It has so many pockets that you'll get lost trying to find your change. I've worn it just about everyday the last couple months and still can't believe I've found the perfect fanny of my dreams! Everything about it feels quality and versatility. The amount of stuff I can fit in this thang ain't nothing short or mind-blowing. I can carry around a grocery bag worth of EDC gadgets and things comfortably and still look like a normal person. it holds and hides things of all sizes and shapes within a plethora of compartments. EDC galore extravaganza! I love the little triangle pockets on the sides for a small EDC knife, flashlight, car keys etc.. sometimes I hide good stack of money in them little things and find it days later. The perfect fanny! Buy this chik magnet ASAP and you might even find a wife

One of the best leather waistpacks I've ever had... except for the buckle.
I have had this waistpack for six months, and I am (mostly) very happy with it. I've been wearing a similar leather waistpack almost daily for about 20 years, and have run through quite a few of them. (I find it handy to keep all my "pocket stuff" in one of these, and if I'm out hiking or on a search and rescue operation, and it starts raining hard, I can throw it in my pack to keep stuff in it dry. My only quibble is with the buckle. After five months, when I bent over, the buckle would unbuckle. I think it's probably a defect in this imitation-YKK-side-release buckle. I've not had this problem with YKK buckles in the past. I thought about simply replacing the buckle, but… ZZNICK decided to use a non-standard 1.25" webbing for the belt. The webbing is very nice, and it's embroidered with their name. And I think that they are right in that 1.25" is just the right size for such a waistpack's belt. However, nobody sells YKK or even similar replacement 1.25" buckles retail. (Standard black tent webbing sizes are 0.75", 1", 1.5", and 2", as are retail buckles.) I ended up replacing the entire belt with 1.5" black nylon tent webbing, and a gen-u-ine YKK buckle, but I used one of the low-profile center-push ones, as it creates less of a pressure point under a pack waistbelt. Also… if you look at the picture… I arranged the strap the way buckle manufacturers expect you to load webbing into the buckle. This makes it easy to quickly pull on the loose end and tighten if it's starting to fall down. And, I therefore attached the end of the webbing to the Triglide so that it's easy to pull this a bit loose, and then loosen the buckle as per the manufacturer's instructions, if it's too tight. I wish every company that made these waistpacks would design their belts this way. *** Update: after a couple of months, the center-press buckle was a failure. It never failed when I leaned over, but it failed about 5-10 times when I leaned up against a kitchen counter or rock. I have replaced it with 1" webbing and a 1" YKK brand side-release buckle. (The 1.5" YKK side-release buckle was too bulky.) I also moved the buckle closer to the pack itself, so that it's easier to reach. I will report back on this in another couple of months.
