High quality, precision filament for your 3D printer. This filament is always round, with no oily residue, no air bubbles, and it comes loaded on a quality spool. Our filament is comparable to the filament sold by leading 3D printing manufacturer's. Compatible with MakerBot, UP Mini, UP Plus and many more personal 3D printers. Made in USA.

I've found DeltaMaker brand filament to be poor quality in every color I've used
I've found DeltaMaker brand filament to be poor quality in every color I've used. I have a Makerbot Replicator 2 (doesn't have a heated bed) and I generally set the temperature of the extruded to between 210 and 230 for printing PLA.I thought this filament was what I had been getting from MakerShed, but at a way better price. It turns out that the price is better for a reason.

Some good some ok
First I would like to say that the winding wrap on this product is the best I have seen, nice and straight. packaging is good and it is very consistent in size. The reason I cannot give it 5 stars is it is very hard to find the proper printing temp for good consistent output. There seems to be a very narrow window for this as above 210 it simply melts and below 190 it cools into blobs. The prints are not good, as it seems to require a heated bed to get started and does not stick to itself until many layers are printed. This causes the bottom layers to be useless. I have tried slowing and speeding the print but it does not print the lower layers as well as the others I have used. I recommend this for heated bed printers only as it needs to have the right print range.

More brown than gold, not a lot of metallic ...
More brown than gold, not a lot of metallic sheen to it. Functionally it will print reliably, but the color is what's lacking.

Good Filament for a good price- nice color
Color is great and prints very reliably on the Makerbot Replicator 2. I ran a 60 hour total time part that used 1/2 the roll and never had a misprint with this filament.

Inconsistent filament size equals a spindle of disappointment!
I have consistently bought DeltaMaker Filament... that will end today.I assure you that it will only take one roll that contains a bulge every 7 feet to ruin your 3D printer fun! I would LOVE to show you a photo of what I am talking about. It is VERY important that a filament stay consistent in thickness. That means if you (DeltaMaker) claim that your filament is 1.75 millimeters thick, that you REALLY MEAN IT. If a filament gets even a few millimeters thicker ANYWHERE IN THE ROLL your printer will STOP PRINTING. The filament then jams in the extruder and your printer keeps on going, but since the filament is jammed, your model is ruined. After you have this happen a few times if you are smart... you just throw out the roll.DeltaMaker: If you want to convince the 3D printer community that you are for real you need to get the simple things right. That means a filament that is consistent and reliable. Color inconsistency I can deal with. A jam every project that results in a piece of trash PLA? I cannot.
