World of Reading: Thor This is Thor: Level 1 Paperback – May 6, 2014

I purchased this for my nephew who absolutely loves Thor. He is dressing up as him for Halloween and had to have a book that the character was in. He is in kindergarden and this is a great level book for him. He was so happy to have it and just wants to keep reading it over and over. The story is good and the illustrations are nice. It is a great book for beginning readers.

My 4 year old son loves Thor/Super Heroes stories. We were trying to teach him to read using conventional Dick and Jane books but he was just not interested. However, with this book he is actually beginning to recognize words and is actually interested in remembering them

Great book for my super-hero loving toddler. We have all of the This is series (Spiderman, Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Thor, Xmen, and Avengers). They are great introductions to the characters with good illustrations.

My daughter loves Thor and was excited to get this book. It should help her with learning to read as she is getting ready for preschool this summer.

Gave this to my great-nephew and expect him to get a lot of great reading out of it.

My 5 yr old loves his comics...and their helping his reading skills improve dramatically! 😃

You can't go wrong with a super hero book or a book with the reading level posted. The pre k boys love it!

My almost 5 year old loves this series. The Level 1 has posed a challenge to him which is great but because they consist of his favourite super heroes he has persevered with the reading and is able to read it himself. Granted he has learned it off by heart now but it is good because I can quiz him on different words and he knows them. Good stuff and pleased I bought the whole series.

Fantastic range of books for little boys who haven't found a love of reading yet. My reception son finds reading a real challenge but he gets so excited when these books arrive, the words are quite hard but the pictures are great and the stories simple. He thinks they are really cool so I am happy too.

Great book. It was bought for my 2 and a half year old, who loves the Avengers/Marvel. They are easy to read and great pictures. Age appropriate too. They were so good I had to get all of them. Would definatly recommend.

Bought this book (plus other similar ones) to add to our superhero topic box at school and the children loved them, especially the boys!

Good children's book for stage 1
