A+ pro works good
A+ I won it a contest !My main been discovery 3300 but Lone Star pro easy to use notch out stuff you don't want and hit treasures ! 1st day silver coins and wheats a spot I hunt a lot .I will start using pro's higher frequency helps.

Good beginner detector.
So far I have used this detector once in my back yard near a really old house foundation and found some little pieces of foil buried from when the garbage was actually burried in those days. This detector is designed not to detect any minerals in rocks so it doesn't interfere with your search. unfortunately New Jersey has pretty strict laws about this hobby and I was denied permission in all the Morris county parks so unfortunately that narrows my search area to almost nothing but hopefully I'll find some pieces back in the woods. This picture is what I found on my second dig by learning how to use the detector . I also used the bounty hunter pin pointer which is very very good and highly recommended .

Great product, good price
It was easy to use, I need to get other accessories to make my finds easier to retrieve.

Not the best for finding metal objects half the time it goes off nothing there even tried to adjust settings

Great detector
Purchased for Christmas for my 11yr old son and he loves it...Actually I think his daddy loves it more! I asked a friend for recommendations on a good purchase and he recommended this one. We have been very satisfied with it and have taken it to the lake to explore FUN!

Does the job
It's a $140 detector. Great for the kids or myself as a beginner. Not a low end unit and not a high end machine. It is what it is... Put in a battery, power up and take it to the beach, park or back yard. Very light weight and easy to assemble. If it breaks in a year or 2 I would buy it again.

A great help!
Worked well. I have no knowledge of how to use metal detectors, but was able to use this with minimum study and find objects that had been lost to me for some time. Very glad I got this! I cannot compare it to other units because this is the only metal detector I have used.
