Highly recommend, Loved them!
Amazing treat. I bought the the Peanut Butter Cup. Loved the flavor and texture. The biggest problem is keeping my husband from eating them all. Definitely going to be trying the other flavors.

They’re actually pretty good!
I’m a super picky eater, but am trying to eat healthier, so I tried these out. They were actually really yummy!! Normally protein bars can have a funky taste/texture with them but these reminded me of a thicker archway cookie! Definitely worth it!

Our least favorite Buff Bake cookie of all varieties we tried
We have experimented with various protein cookies and recently came across Buff Bake SANDWICH cookies, which we really liked. Therefore, we thought we would try these Buff Bake Peanut Butter Cup protein cookies when they appeared in my Amazon Vine selection, as well as Chocolate Chip and Double Chocolate. Each Peanut Butter Cup cookie weighs about 2.8 oz (80 g) and contains 320 calories and 15 g fat. They are high in fiber (13 g) and protein (16 g). Unfortunately, they are also high in carbohydrates (37 g), making them a less desirable choice for those who need to watch their carbs, especially diabetics. As far as their flavor, we did not like them. We like the sandwich cookies the best, followed by the Chocolate Chip protein cookie, then the Double Chocolate protein cookie. I think if we buy Buff Bake cookies, we will stick with their sandwich cookies.

Not For Us, But Filled With Goodness ...
We grabbed these since we often have to delay dinner in the fall and winter months so that we can get a workout in before dark (we are both life-long runners). We often eat something comparable during the early afternoon so that we feel full and energized on our runs. Now, do know that these a have a strong smell ... very much like vitamins/supplements. So, when you open the packet, just be prepared for that. Likewise, the taste is definitely not-so-much cookie-like as supplement/vitamin like. For both of us, these were a "no-go." We will stick with our basic CLIF bars (they aren't perfect, but they are okay).Even though neither of us can enjoy these, we believe that their are others who definitely will. These have so much that fitness buffs will truly love: no trans fat, high in fiber, gluten free, protein filled, etc.I think they these may take a little getting used to. If you can do that, there is all sorts of goodness here!

Chewy, sticky, and way too sweet :(
OK, my expectations were super high after reading the description and seeing no artificial sweeteners. "Imagine a fresh, soft baked peanut butter cookie with creamy peanut butter drops and chocolate chip morsels."I microwaved this for 10 seconds, per the package, and was ready to enjoy. The smell is a bit off. Not quite peanut butter, more just sweet. The texture is chewy and sticky, and not in a good way (the tapioca flour shows itself!). The taste is just cloyingly sweet - nothing else. I couldn't taste the PB or chocolate, just a wall of sweetness. I don't think I could handle eating another one.Why are they so sweet? Four teaspoons of sugar - 16g! I would rather separate my protein from my sugars and have a great dessert instead of barely tolerating this. And a few hours later, I have heartburn, which I almost never get.

Give'em A Chance
If you're expecting the perfect baked cookie, think again. If you want the best post-workout or diet low-sugar snack, look elsewhere. If you'd like a big cookie that you could nibble on throughout the day or serve as a meal replace, this might be for you.If you've ever had a protein bar, it has that chewy, "collagen" texture. The outer rim of the cookie is a bit cakey and crumbly while the center section is more chewy. There is peanut and chocolate, but also a noticeable coconut flavor, even though that ingredient is way down on the content list. It has lots of fiber and 16g of protein, but also has 15g of fat and 16g of sugar, contributing to its 320 calorie per serving total. While not terrible, I'm sure those ratios could have been tweak towards a leaner cookie while retaining the pleasant taste. The box of 12 has each cookie individually wrapped, ideal to throw in a bag and eat on the go.I like it better than other "meal" cookies I've tried and the ingredients seem wholesome for the most part. I may not get them again even though they're priced reasonably, but I'll enjoy this batch. Microwaving in the bag for 10 seconds does indeed soften the Protein Cookie and make it seem fresh-baked.~ Kort
