Stretchrite 1/8-Inch by 24-Yard White Heavy Round Cord Elastic Reel

My daughter-in-law is from Beijing, bought this product and does her Chinese jump rope activities when we take her two little ones to the parks. I had never seen anything like it, the rope or the games, so I ordered more to cut into three 8-yard lengths for my other grandchildren. I had planned to make a DVD to show the kids what to do with the rope, but found lots of videos on YouTube and will refer them there instead. Also found several books on Amazon and got one for my granddaughter to use at her home far away from us. This elastic has served us well, shows no wear at all, behaves as though it's brand new! I'm so pleased to be creating another tradition in America which may help more children to be fit and happy!

I was looking for an elastic string like the one that holds children's shoes together (when you first buy them). I found several on amazon, but decided to purchase this one because of the GREAT reviews. I was disappointed when I got it. Its HEAVY DUTY stuff, not the kind that I was looking for....I cant use it for ballet slippers. Soooo, if you're looking for heavy duty round elastic, this is IT! If you need something LIGHT, like the elastic in capezio ballet slippers or the elastic that holds children's shoes together at the store...this is definitely not it. Hope this helps!

I ordered this to repair my tent poles, and it did the job perfectly. If the elastic cord in your poles have oxidized or somehow broke, this is a perfect replacement and costs much less than an actual "repair kit" from an outdoors store. An added benefit is that I have plenty of cord left over for other projects yet to be discovered.

Used this to restring a few BJD's and I must say it was pretty good quality elastic. It was just a bit thick for the arms of MSD's might want to go the next size down for that, but it worked well for the legs and core, really made my dolls a lot sturdier.

I needed this size cord for a sewing project and was unable to find it in any of the stores in our city that sold sewing materials and supplies.

I bought this cord for several projects. #1 I doubled it up to repair the arms on my grand daughters doll. and 2 to repair some pop up tent poles and 3 I made a sling for some hanging plants to enable them to be pulled down for watering. This stuff is great to have around for what's next.

I know the elastic was good. I ordered the wrong size to retie the body parts of my Mother's porcelain doll. Sent back and ordered proper item.

Fitted sheet of a full set lost it's elasticity. With this I was able to exchange the elastic & now it'll hug the mattress for another couple of years!
