Used it to replace hinges on aluminum gate, that landscaper broke. Works great. Easy to install, and look great. They are self closing.

We have heavy gates and after years of wear and inclement weather it was time to change out our self closing gate hinges. Initially I thought I’d have to reach out to the company who installed them but simply searched on Amazon and found the exact replacement parts. They are easy to install, especially when replacing existing hinges. They are also easy to adjust the tension to your desired strength.

These hinges are great. I had these exact hinges for over 14 years on a frequently used gate and they were/are excellent. I only replaced them because I set the gate with very little clearance and after 14 years they had worn ever so slightly and gate would hit post on latch side every time it opened and closed. My fault for not leaving enough clearance. I replaced with same brand but without the flanges that go inside post so I could center the gate within the opening.

excellent hinges, a perfect replacement for failed original hinges. they fit great, close the gate nicely. Did not have to drill new holes as they all lined up with the original holes, making installation easy.

Good hinge, works very well. Update after 3months, hinges chatter when opening and closing.
