Blackcurrant Drink England, 23.6 Ounce Plastic Bottle

This became the kids' favorite while we were in London - they say it tastes like liquid lollipop! I'm glad to have it available here; even at the considerable mark-up, it's not a bad deal. Ribena is available at some grocery stores here in Chicago for $6.50 for a comparably sized bottle, but my kids much prefer the Vimto. We've ordered several times and have had no problems with the quality so far. ****UPDATE******* 10/16/16 - The most recent bottle we bought (we buy a bottle about once a month, but not on subscribe & save) has an expiration date of MAR 2016 - so more than 6 months expired. The expiration date can be difficult to read - it's on the very top of the bottle next to the cap - , but please do check it. Again - this is the first expired bottle out of more than a dozen, and Amazon is replacing it without hassle. ****UPDATE********* 3/13/17 - the last three bottles we ordered (2 separate orders) arrived this week with an expiration date of MAR 2017. Seeing that it is halfway through March 2017, I think this is unacceptable. Unfortunately, there is nowhere local we can get Vimto where we can check the expiry before purchasing, so I'll continue to roll the dice, and send back the expired bottles.

This tastes so good. Just remember that it is a concentrate!

Five stars, mostly for its nostalgia value. Brought me back to my childhood in Britain. Currant flavoring is definitely a European thing; never caught on here in the states. Sort of a cross between Dr. Pepper and grape Crush.

Delicious taste of home. Drink from northern England, can be diluted to taste depending on sugar and strength desired. Tastes like a fruity cup of heaven. Fantastic over ice with water, with lemonade to turn it carbonated (can also be purchased carbonated or in lollipop flavours), or with hot water in the winter. Not really a downside to this - can be tough to find in the US but worth the effort to find.

Grew up drinking this, it’s hard to find here so nice to get a treat every now and then. Packaged well.

The product is good, but the shipping cost from the UK to the US really takes away from the value. It's good enough that I'll buy more in the future. Also, try the drink with soda water versus water. It makes for a big improvement.

Unfortunately, this product is defective. It is brownish-red in color (instead of purple), and has only a hint of Vimto taste. At first, I thought it was me since I love Vimto, but haven't drank it in 6 months. However, after coming back from a trip to England, I can safely say this bottle tastes gross. I looked at the expiration date, and it only has 5 months left from the date of purchase - maybe that is why it is so bad, or quite possibly it was stored in direct sunlight. Either way, this is not the place to buy Vimto if you have never tasted it before Such a shame at such a high price - I would have liked to have contacted the seller directly instead of publicly putting the product down. Also, seeing the £1.65 all over the top of the bottle label put me off since I paid way more in US Dollars.

The Amazon listing doesn't mention this, but this product contains artificial sweeteners. If you're avoiding artificial sweeteners for any reason, don't buy this. (Try Ribena instead; it tastes better and there's no artificial sweetener.)

I love vimto ...this is not real vimto concetrate.its a mockup of it.... it also has artficial sweetner....not like the orignal...wont by again
