Nutrition Nectar Sweets, 100% Whey Isolate Protein Powder, Chocolate Truffle, 2 lbs

I've been out of the workout game for a few years now due to family and work obligations, but after a recent health scare I realized I needed to place a larger commitment to my own personal health. back when I was working out a few years ago I would get Syntrax Nectar "fuzzy navel" which was pretty decent in terms of the taste but I was unable to find it when I was going to order. I was skeptical of trying the Strawberry mousse, and was pleasantly surprised by it's taste. I use a full scoop in 8 oz. skim milk and it comes across like vanilla Quik or a Strawberry shake. For full transparency: No, you can not completely get rid of the aftertaste. It is still whey protein mix and it will still taste like protein mix no matter how much flavoring you hide it with. That said, this is unquestionably the most palatable Protein I've ever had. I'm not sure how Syntrax did it, but I could literally drink this stuff all day long. Regarding other reviews complaining it doesn't mix well. I'm not sure how they are mixing this, but take a few bucks and get a blender bottle (it's has a screw-off cap and a wire mixing ball inside) here on Amazon for under $7. I've yet to have this protein not mix well and can only guess they are using a glass and a spoon which never mixes a shake very well. I was always a fan of Syntrax as they put out a really good product and don't hide anything in the labeling (i.e. "Proprietary blends") so you know what you are getting which seems like a rarity these days. If you dig strawberry Quik this will definitely suit you!

The Chocolate Truffle is my favorite. I love the taste of it, I usually get a good mix in my shaker bottle, and I mix it with Lactaid milk. I was looking for a great tasting product that was lactose free and I could mix with Lactaid. I don't really care for the taste of Lactaid alone, but with this mix it makes it much better. Tastes like chocolate milk to me. However the price has come up quite a bit over the years, and the availability is questionable at times as the company seems to have issues keeping up with demand now. Worth the taste alone but just know that it may be hard to come by at times.

I was hesitant to purchase this protein shake because some other brands don't taste so good. But a friend encouraged me to try it, saying that it tasted good and was an effective part of her weight loss regimen. I tried the shake by adding a half scoop of the Chocolate Truffle powder to 4 ounces of 2% fat milk, and then shaking it in a blender bottle for about a minute. It tasted very good! No clumping and no aftertaste. It tasted like a regular chocolate shake. I definitely can add this to my daily regimen because it is a quick, easy way to get my protein. Next time I will use skim milk.

I'm a Bariatric patient and have been using this protein for years. It is good by itself and even better mixed with coffee. A side note...let the coffee cool a bit before adding the protein so the protein doesn't curdle.

I have seen two small, red packets of oxygen absorber in the package and didn't think much of them. I accidentally scooped one up with today's drink and used my mini blender to mix it. I didn't even realize that I had an oxygen absorber in there until I got to the bottom of the cup, and it had been shredded, so I know I drank some of the contents. PLEASE USE BIGGER ONES THAT WON'T HIDE IN THE SCOOP! Otherwise, so far these taste great (cookies)! I mix with lactose-free milk and it's great. I tried mixing with coffee and it does not mix well. I wasted a cup of coffee and a serving of protein powder, but at least I know now. It's a little on the sweet side, but not terribly so. I had colon surgery two years ago and they removed my ileocecal valve and ever since then my protein levels have been low. I'm hoping that when I go for a recheck in May, my levels will be back in the normal range. Right now, I only drink one in the morning, but will add a lunch one if necessary. From what I've seen, this is the best price if you're looking for whey protein isolate. Regular whey protein does not agree with my digestive system. I can't decide if I want to try chocolate or strawberry next time.

Great product. Only 200 calories in 2 large scoops. Lots of protein and vitamins. A great way to loose weight.

I get this for my protein I take because of weight loss surgery. Provides all that I need and it taste just like a strawberry milkshake when mixed with protein milk.

Eu comprei do sabor cookies e é mto gostoso, vem pedaços de biscoito e nem parece whey, o investimento é maior, porém a qualidade não se compara a nenhum outro que já experimentei. Gosto pq é isolado e também pelo sabor, que não é enjoativo e nem parece adoçante como outras marcas.
