surprise! the toy didnt come with batteries. Glad i had time to order these before my son opened it. I love amazon for the fact that this can get shipped to my house in a matter 1-2 days. These batteries last significantly longer than off brand ones from dollar general etc. so i fork out the money to get name brand. Ive tested this theory myself, after reading an article saying otherwise. Name brand isnt always better, but in this case it is!

Several weeks ago, my smoke detector started beeping (as they do when the battery is low) and I didn't have the right type to replace it. Thank God my neighbor did or I would've had to listen to the beep all night. She brought them over and I replaced them when I got replacements from Amazon. Thanks.

You can't go wrong with Duracell batteries, and with their very long life expectancy, I bought these even though I didn't need them at the time. They were a great value with the sale, and I wanted to take advantage of the price.

What is there to say Duracell copper top excellent excellent battery that lasts forever in your products. I would highly recommend buying these I buy them every time I see that they're on sale and these last forever and whatever you put them in.

After some disappointing battery purchases, we now test each battery for full charge when delivered. These Duracell Copper Tops [sold and shipped by AMZ] have been the only ones that consistently tested 'okay' above 1.5 volts.Both our retail shop and residence rely on them for stable output and longevity in many applications. For the price, these are our long-term winners. Bonus: we can recycle them as well.

Best batteries last much longer than any other

These are AA batteries. They are black with gold on upper portion. They work pretty darn well in my opinion. Just wish the would last forever in my flash light. Be aware though, tbe technical jargon for these puppies is “AA”. Don’t pronounce question marked, just AA. Not aa but AA. They aren’t like a car battery size wise unless it’s like a play toy car.
