Asurion - Great insurance policy
Asurion is definitely worth the price you pay for the insurance. I made a phone call after our device stopped working. After providing a few simple details about my initial order and the problems I was encountering, they processed the claim, provided a return label and as soon as the carrier received the return they emailed me a refund. I will definitely be insuring future purchases.

Never received the email delivery...
I purchased this plan with a Surecom SWR meter...I received the meter, bur I never received the email with the plan information- confirmation...I went to the Asurion website and logged into my account to take a look...I have four plans listed on my account for other items I elected to purchased the insurance, but the plan I purchased for the SWR meter is not showing on my Asurion account...I tried the link for customer service, but it appears to be a automated response and I wasn't able to get anywhere addressing the issue...All that I need is for a human to respond and have the emil sent and the insurance to show on my account...I have checked the email associated with my account and nothing in any folders, including the junk and deleted folder, which I check thoroughly before I empty either...It would be nice if either Asurion or Amazon would respond to address this issue...

I reported my speaker wasn't holding a charge and they sent me a shipping label to get a return within minutes. Great customer service.

Surprisingly Frictionless
I just left the product with UPS yesterday, (free shipping tag, just scan at the front door and drop it in the box), and my refund was issued today. It was applied to Amazon gift card balance and IDK if there are any other options, but that's fine with me. It might be noted, the claim was for two outdoor surveillance cameras which looked very much like they'd been outdoors, very used, and very broken. The only criteria, apparently, is that the product be within its covered period and outside the Amazon return window or manufacturer/vendor warranty.I've purchased a number of these protection plans but this is the first time i've had to use one.On that point though, if you do purchase regularly i would warn to keep track of them. I only accidentally discovered my product was covered while browsing my order history, and on that list it is not immediately apparent for which transaction the plan was purchased. I'd given up on those cameras as a loss, like 6 months ago.I've also bought plans on some much more expensive products. If i have to use one of those and get a runaround as others describe, i will be sorely disappointed and will come back to adjust my review accordingly. I can see how experiences could easily fall from 5 stars to one, if it is made difficult to collect. But as it is, i had no trouble at all following the steps outlined on the website and receiving my $90-something compensation.I'm very pleased.
