Works well - cheap price.
This cable does what it is supposed to do, carry signal to other computer. I've seen higher quality cable with better outer skin, but at the end of the day, all I need is the signal from router to reach the computer on other end and vice versa - in that regard, this cable did the job and at a very low price.I was having intermittent problems with the wireless card in my wife's computer in the other room. I decided to hardwire her computer for the internet connection. Calculated that I needed 40-50 feet of cable to run along the wall, through the closet walls, into the other room, around the baseboards and into her computer. I drilled the holes in the walls, fed the cable through, connected to her computer and to the router in my office, removed her wireless card, turned her computer on, and voila - she was instantly connected to the internet. So far after a month or so, no problems.I deducted 1 star because the blue skin of the cable is very thin, and when bent, turns white. Shouldn't be a problem since there is no reason to disturb the cable now that it is in place. But, I would have preferred a better, heavier skin that resisted kinking. This cable has the potential to kink and if done repeatedly, may have potential to weaken or break a wire inside the wrap. Just handle with care and you should have no problems. For the price, you can not go wrong.I always measure the distance I need and add about 5-10 feet.... nothing is worse than coming up 1-2 feet short!

Good cable, but some things to note.
This cable simply works--plug it in and you'll be connected. But there were a few things that I noted almost immediately. It was delivered coiled up in a bag, placed in a box, and shipped from Cmple.com, Inc. This wasn't an issue though, but the first major thing I noticed when I pulled the cable from the package was that it wasn't the same color as the cable in the images on Amazon. It was a darker shade of blue; this was also noted in another review for this product. Now, I'm not nit picky over what color my cables are, but the fact that this cable was a different color made me think there was a switch somewhere when they shipped it. Also, the connectors on the cable I received were not the same as the ones pictured. A little disappointing but regardless, this product was cheap and it worked fine, so I'm not as concerned.Unplugging it from a computer is not an issue at all--it's easy to unplug. This is good for the college student that needs to move their laptop around a lot, or a person that likes moving around computers in their home network. It's a lot cheaper than many other expensive 25 ft. cables you find in stores, and it performs just as well as them too. The connector also fits firmly in my laptop's Ethernet port, and it doesn't feel flimsy or loose at all.Overall, I do recommend this product if you want to have an up-to-date, wired connection to the Internet. Although I did not receive what was pictured, the performance of the product definitely makes up for the disappointments.

Great Snagless Cat 6 Ethernet Cable
I bought this ethernet cable to connect my internet modem and router for my computer which are always either side by side or one laying on top of the other. One of the plastic clips broke on one end and naturally it wouldn't stay in. The one I had was a regular Cat 5 or Cat 5e that was not clip snag free and was 3 ft long which was way too long for two boxes next to each and it was always getting tangled with the other modem, router, and computer wires. I decided to get as small an ethernet cable as I could get this time, and was glad to find 1 ft ones here on Amazon. I was not looking to buy a Cat 6 (way overkill for use) or a snag free one (major pain to pull out), but this one was the best value of the 1 ft ethernet cables at the time of this review. I was additionally hesitant none the less on getting this, because the most recent review below me said he didn't get the actual product in the picture from the seller. Well the one I got looks exactly like the picture. It also as a bonus is a snag free end ethernet cable (which is not in the product title or description) which usually costs more. It also is not one of the major pain to get out snag free ethernet cables I hate. The plastic tab to prevent the plactic clip from getting snagged and snapped is actually soft and flexible enough to still be able to depress the plastic clip to release the ethernet cable. The product works great and notice an improvement in the devices. Product came quick from seller.

OMG so easy
I am a bit of a dinosaur when considering things of a tech/IT nature. I do know however that I am tired of going to retailers locally and getting charged up the wazoo for things like a tiny 3 foot ether cord. I also have the character defect of impatience so I had not previously ordered from Amazon.com so I was still shopping locally. Plus I had ordered from another company online (located in China) which sent me 5 Items. Three of these did not work and very shortly after receiving them my bank notified it had put a block on my bank card as someone was trying to use it in Aruba. Since I had not gone on vacation from the US Midwest to the Caribbean I was glad the bank was on top of things and sad that I had been screwed purchasing on "the web". I ramble on don't I (another old age trait I fear) I will get to the point. I decided after having perused Amazon.com and decided to give them a try, and as my header said OMG (see I am getting it) was it ever so easy. I could not be happier and I hope those older folks who might read this will give them a try, it was quick, the products came as advertised and they were very reasonably priced. What more could one ask for.......don't ask they probably can't send that UPS.

a short skipping rope
They say you get what you pay for, i paid very little, i got...........very little. This cable started out okay for a few months, then one day i plug it in, and nothing, no connection. I tried another cable that i know worked and sure enough connection. For the 1 month this cable lasted it was good, now it is a 3ft skipping rope.

This is a great deal!
I've bought many Ethernet cables before, and most had connector problems at the ends, where you couldn't pull them back out of your pc without snapping the pins for some strange reason. This one has no such problems! It works fantastic!Cable is nice and thick and is ten feet long, which allows you to run it to your modem from your desk without shortage of length. Overall great buy!

cable is fine
Wiring my internet connection has made a great difference in the speed of downloads and uploads. More choice in colour would have helped the wire to blend better in my room.

Good product
To avoid the amount of rolled up cables under the desk, we needed a short ethernet cable. RiteAV 3ft is doing the job. It is perfect for the purpose.
