For a cheaper subwoofer I have a had great luck and decent sound out of these!

I was looking for more storage space in my subaru wagon and had a small truck box lying around so decided to remove my 2x12s rockfords out that were rated at 500w peak. I have a Kenwood kac7204 1000w power them...they hit pretty hard. Enter the Planet Audio, this was a perfect replacement. Bass is sharp and gets down low in such a small enclosure. I am a long time believer in you get what you pay for, we will see how long it lasts. It passes in sound quality, the test will be for how long.

Used this in a very small box under the back seat of my 2018 silverado 1500 crew cab. It was powered by a 500 watt 4 ohm amp. It filled the void nice in a factory system, and if you played the right song, this would actually hit really hard! Had it in my truck for just under two years before it went out. Not exactly sure what happened, but it just stopped working one day. It could have been my fault, maybe over powered for the rating of the sub and box might have been too small. But I'd say if you're just looking for something cheap for a budget build or just getting into car audio and don't want to spend a lot, this has its place.

Speaker came out of the box with a bad voice coil

Bought them thinking they would be so so for what I paid but after brake in I am blown away at how hard they hit they are in a ported box behind my seat in a 2005 f250 they shake the whole truck they are awesome.

I ordered two of these and a planet audio ac2000.2 amp for power. I built a custom ported box to fit under my rear seat of my truck. The box was a little small per planet audios requirements but the subs seem to have no issues hitting most notes even lows. For the price I paid I can't be happier. I'm not going to win competitions, but it's enough bass to feel it completely throughout the truck. The amp is a good match for the set up. If your looking to stay on budget this is a great buy.

Ok, so when I saw this subwoofer my expectations weren't that high, but man was I wrong. This thing blew me out of the water! It sounds great! Firstly, this sub does not like air, keep it sealed. I used a ported box and a sealed box and the sealed sounded way better (the box was .65 cu ft) secondly, this sub has a little bit of a smell when you first get it, kind of off putting but it goes away. Overall, I would buy this woofer again, and again, and again. It was an amazing deal.
