Fast and easy dessert!

The flavor is just as good as any conventional oven cake I have made. I didn't want to stop eating it. When I bought it, I thought it was a traditional full size cake but its a pan cake. The cake pan feels like its made out of a heavy grade paper, with a non stick surface similar to wax paper. I dont see why the pan could not be reused a couple more times, if you were in a pinch, and needed something while you are traveling, if you wash it out lightly. You could also use the pan, to start plant sprouts indoors for a spring garden, to plant later outside or for an indoor garden.

It is good price but the cake tasted to thick and chalky when cooked in the microwave but ok in the oven

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the yellow cake with chocolate frosting was. The cake was great! Frosting could be better, and I hate the squeeze packet it came in, but it's not bad.The cake is the perfect size for a small event or dessert for for a few people, with minimal cleanup. The box says 4 servings, and required an egg, 2TBSP of vegetable oil, and 3 TBSP of water. I love that it comes with a pan, and the cake easily came out. The diameter is a little smaller than the height of my bottle water.I'll definitely buy it again for the price I paid - $2. For the two of us, anytime we make a cake, half of it goes to waste. I love these little cakes, but if the price goes up (like it tends to do on amazon), we'll probably buy regular sized stuff.

The directions for this product indicate conventional oven (350 degrees) or microwave only. Not for use in toaster oven. Apparently it's not for use in a child's Easy Bake Oven either. Gave it a 3-star because we have not prepared and eaten it yet so can not attest to flavor, but because the product was found during a search for mixes to use in an Easy Bank Oven when it is not appropriate for such a use.

Good small cake mix.

This cake was very delicious. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. It tasted very fresh and did not have that weird chemical flavor that most box mixes seem to have. Pleasantly surprised with this cake mix. A great way to enjoy cake without having to worrying about eating and wasting a larger one. You can stack multiple of these cakes to make cute layers. With nice decorations, you can make it look like those popular bakery mini cakes.
