Universal Lawn Garden Tractor Hitch Support Brace Kit Combination

Fits my Cub XT1 LT42 perfect. Very sturdy, easy install. Try different brackets before you drill as you get different ones. Good price for what you get. I used a thin wall socket for the ball nut & worked great.

Had to drill two holes for upper mount to hold to frame of mower , it works great has a spot for your ball and to still use your yard attachments.I installed on a 23hp snapper it will pull my 5x10 from back yard and boat out the garage "on flat pavement " do not haul anything more than your mower can stop!!!! Helps alot to see where the boat sides are with out getting in and out the truck . And with out driving the truck to get my trailer in the back yard!PLEASE do not try to haul anything over your stopping power !

Easy to install. Very strong. Good quality steel well coated. On my tractor it holds at least 250 tongue weight. The extra brace helps a lot. It could have used two more bolts for the bottom two holes and I would have liked the bolts and nuts to be something more corrosion resistant. The instruction sheet photo were hard to see.

This hitch works great. Be advised, it takes a 3/4 " shank ball. I installed on a LT1000 mower and the only way to drill/ install support mount was to remove rear plate from mower for hardware access. Really easy and fast to do, only four bolts. Used the two bolt support and a single bolt at bottom where original hitch hole is. New mount is solid. If your lawn tractor will tow it, this hitch will handle it.

Well made and not hard to install but the enclosed directions and terrible. The photos are so dark it's hard to make out were each part goes. I used the listing photo to assemble and install the hitch.As for the hitch, very useful to pull a yard trailer a little bigger than a garden one sold in home centers.Be sure to order the ball as it is not included.

I have had a Ryobi 48 volt electric riding mower for several years. I have been using that mower for shuffling 1200lb+ utility trailers around lately and ended up bending the hitch plate while backing a trailer up. I purchased this hitch in an attempt to make the thin mower hitch a bit sturdier. This add on hitch turned out fitting great and really strengthed the connection between the mower and the trailer immensely. Just tighting down the three bolts bent the hitch plate back up where it belongs. As a bonus I no longer have to remove the ball hitch before attaching my small garden cart or yard rake.

Installation was straight-forward. Drilling the holes for the extra support brace required a drill bit for metal. The metal on a John Deer mower took some time to drill through. Even though the hitch is strong, I feel having the support brace was worth the extra work. Hitch works great for both a full-size trailer with hitch ball and a polycart with hitch pin. Highly recommend.

Excellent product but the instructions are rubbish! Which is why I give it 4 stars.
