typical ballplayer autobiography
I grew up in the 80’s and Willie Randolph was one of the only fixture on the Yankees during my childhood, so I was very excited to read this book… unfortunately, the book did not live up to expectations. He glosses over his career, and should have spent more time detailing his playing days. The last couple of chapters, where he names his Yankee team, could have been better, but did have some insight

There was a hard crease in the cover I wasn't expecting (may have happened in shipping). Other than that.. Pleased with my purchase and good read thus far...

A good read...
This book represents what I always felt about Mr. Randolph. He's industrious. He has integrity. The book is honest. Good pictures, great career.

Enjoyed the insight into Willie's career and those that he came in contact with in baseball. The stories of the Yankee teams of the 70's were interesting and enlightening.

Yes Willie
Great read from a man who lived the Yankee tradition, I lived vicariously through his narrative. I think he is an inspiration to all young players, if I were the Yankees I'd buy a copy for all my minor leaguers.
