Got this light bulb about 3 weeks ago. Setup was OK, the auto discovery process didn't work i and i had to install it using the AP mode of setup, but no big deal. Was working great for about 2 weeks then all of a sudden the app said it was offline even though i can turn the bulb off and on again manually at the switch and works fine. I think deleted the bulb out of the app and repair'd it but now, even though the app says it can see the bulb i can't control it via the app and just stays on all the time and will only turn off at the usual light switch which makes it useless.

Brilliant product. The light works perfectly with the smart life app once set up. I bought 2 of these (12W) and they light up the entire living room. The colours are fairly bright too. Works great with google home. However trying to set up was frustrating but got there in the end. Really recommend over expensive brands. No need to spend £40 for a bulb. Also your Wi-fi needs to be 2.4ghz for them to work. You can change this in your Wi-fi admin settings.

Easy and prob best smart bulb I bought

Brought this to replace current 12w bulb.Its not the same brightness as a 12w bulb 'should' be... (even within the app turning the brightness to 100%).I would honestly say this was about the same as a 9w bulb - colours even "darker" than such.Pairing up to mobile - Easy and Simple.Packaging - Very secure with instructions.

The misuss told me to spend money on something more useful or keep it in the bank if I've got nothing better to spend money on. Now she absolutely loves it, set up in seconds, works brilliantly well with Alexa. Very happy with this one
