Robinson Crusoe (Illustrated Classic): 300th Anniversary Collection Paperback – December 11, 2018

What's better than a classic story and some fantastic illustrations you can't go wrong with this. Besides older children might really get into the story mt granddaughter did !

My mom bought this scholastic rendition for me when I was in the 5th grade. It may have been one of the 99 cent books at the time.I thought it looked dumb and wouldn't read it. Until that eventful day I ran out of books to read and had no choice but to pick it up.I couldn't put it down. One of the most memorable books I ever read.I gave the very same book to my oldest kids in the 5th grade to read. They grudgingly picked it up as well, and they too fell in love with it.My son is in the 5th grade this year. The copy from my childhood was now falling apart. I searched to find the same one.Luckily he was excited to read. More so when he heard the history of why we all love it. He also fell in love with it. Loaned it to my nephew in the 5th grade as well, he also loved it.Thank you to my sweet mom who probably had no clue what she'd start by buying a cheep scholastic book order book.Truly a classic everyone should read :)

If I could give it negative stars I would. I bought it for my child's reading list and put it back without looking at it. Never again. The font is ridiculously tiny with 3 columns per page, no publishing info inside, no title page, little separation between chapters.

Except for the cover all the Wyeth illustrations are Black & White. That is disappointing but to be expected in a cheap edition.

This is one of my favourite stories so I was pleased when a pupil asked me if I could get it.It is an exciting book to read.

This 70 year old lady had the time of her life enjoying this adventure. YOUNG boys of centuries ago likely sailed through the manner of such speech, but only the astute of today`s youngster, boys and girls, will appreciate, unless they've read the comic book or seen a cartoon first. Great fun, no offensive language or mature subject matter, because none needed when author is clever and can take the high road without it.

This was a surprise in that it is antiseptic and should be enjoyed by an AI. If you are an android, and enjoy reading in bed with a computer generated printout in one hand and a microscope in the other, then this was printed and bound with YOU in mind. So much for one copy I received today. Another book BY THE SAME TITLE, you flucking AI reader/snoopdog bitcvh'n coldblooded non-thinking machine, I received today in the same box is quite a different story. For THAT book I will give 6 Stars. It is exactly like the one I grew up with, illustrations and all. So the 3 stars is for the anticeptic "printout" and the invisible 6 is for the real book which can be read without a magnifying glass.

Delivered quickly. Well illustrated, “old school” style. Easily readings by children (8-12) or by an adult to children. Glad to have chosen this book over others.
