The connector is not well made. While I could screw it into the Vertex socket on my Yaesu FTA-450L radio, the audio had a terrible tone -- some sort of weird feedback, making me wonder if the wiring was not done correctly. With sidetone enabled and the External Mic selected, my audio was barely acceptable.The PTT did work, but only if the adapter was screwed down tight. And if you screwed it down TOO tight, then PTT did NOT work and the audio out DID work but with the terrible hum.This is a very cheaply made earpiece headset. Some functions worked when others didn't, and vice versa.In this case you don't even get what you paid for. A big bummer.

Trash! Only used three times for a total of about 16 or 17 hours and completely useless. Can't hear anything or successfully speak through it. And one of the screws striped off inside the walkie talkie so can't fully secure headset to handheld and screw is stuck inside and i don't have the tools to get it out. Would not buy this. Not sure how this got so many good reviews. And to top it off can not find ANYTHING on seller or customer support.

I work in a retail environment and the ear pieces supplied by the store weren't that good - uncomfortable, and they constantly needed to be adjusted or they would fall out of the ear.This is perfect for my needs. Good sound quality and very comfortable.The price is great also.

Ok so I put the bud in my ear after I plugged it all in and the bud hurt my earlobe so I had to buy a Semi Mold pic from amazon of course. Now it’s all comfortable. Buy sizes small and medium. I tried on both and I found out medium was my mold size. Sound is great and everything else in between is all to wonderfully made. You will not regret buying it. Also the mold will help you be able to listen to background noice. Incase someone is trying to get you attention.
