Reliable
Siize, shape or color doesn't matter. The device just needs to work right so you can rely on it to do what it's suppose to do. I've had this device for several months now and it works very well.

Very pleased with the meter
Very pleased with the meter. Found it to be much better accommodating than the same brand kit I got at the pharmacy. I was able to get the control fluid and the Lancet holder that another kit did not have--- for a better price.

Dead battery and lancing device terrible, otherwise great meter!
Battery was dead right out of the box! Have a CR2032 battery on hand before you buy this! The lancing device sucks, needle does not retract, pokes your finger and stays inside your finger! Have to use DH's OneTouch device which you can barely feel. But, if you can get past those 2 issues, it is supposed to be the most accurate ketone meter on the market, once the blood is flowing the meter is easy to use, so I will keep it. Price was very good too even without including the strips!

this seems like a big difference between the two systems
I'm not sure about this meter. I ran the control and it said it was 108 - normal - as expected. With my AccuChek meter it said my sugar was 125. With this meter it said my sugar was 137.I'm a newly-diagnosed diabetic, so I'm not sure about these things. But, to me, this seems like a big difference between the two systems. And I'm not sure which one is correct.
