In the summer of 2019 my dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis, she was hospitalized 4 times, and I finally figured out how to keep her from getting sick by feeding her low-fat canned food. I just wanted to let you all know, I am so grateful, as skeptical as I was before trying this, seeing my dog happy and healthy again turned me into a believer.

This has a nice nutty flavor that makes it easy to add to savory food. I just blend it into my coffee and it tastes great.

I use reishi every night to help me sleep, along with ashwaghanda. I can sleep through the night without tossing and turning and racing thoughts keeping me awake. Dose: 1-1/2 tsp reishi, and a scant 1/4 tsp ashwaghanda. Purchasing through Amazon is quicker and easier than ordering through the manufacturer's online store.

What's inside the bottle is mycelium, way way more potent than fruit body. Consistently high quality with powerful ingredient. My mom has been taking this product for years and cured her decades long insomnia. Reishi also significantly boosts our immune system, so you will not get sick. LOVE this product and will take it as part of my regular diet.

I just wish that from such an illustrious brand, they upped the quality to “from fruiting bodies,” areas of merely the cheaper blend of mycelium (which necessarily involves including the ground up substrate the fungus grew on- usually oats). Now buying all my mushroom powders as extracts from fruiting bodies, from Bulk Supplements.

I really like the flavor. It tastes great when I mix it with my pre-workout (Blue-Razz). It almost taste like watermelon. This doesn’t mix that easily but when it does, it’s a pleasant texture. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my endurance while in the gym. I’ve taken this for about three weeks now. Simple and to the point. Would definitely recommend!

I have used Host Defense mushroom capsules for several years for increased energy and fortifying my immune system. The powder allows me to mix the reishi with herbal teas and smoothies. The reishi powder has an earthy flavor. The powder is more cost effective than the capsules. Best when taken in the morning and up to the late afternoon. I take the powder 2x a day. I had problems falling to sleep when taken too close to bedtime. When taken early in the day, I have no problems with sleep and I am ready and motivated to workout in the evenings when I return home from the office. I highly recommend this product.
